Honestly I'm switching to MultiVersus as long as I don't have to play Brawlhalla anymore At least in that game spammers can get punished with parries and attack decay and playing passive the whole time will get you nowhere either
I actually talked to this guy on flowerbh's video criticizing his playstyle, didn't rlly object to me and only gave a fluff response. Still I could tell this guy has no idea how much of a clown hes making himself look like

That Kamaal guy’s play style perfectly encompasses why playing Brawlhalla 1v1 can feel like such a chore at times. If everyone played the game like him and never attacked first, everyone would just be standing still for 8 minutes until time
@@morkk5945 Ikr ;-; I'm gold and I was in an experimental 1v1 game and I was going against this person that was better than me and playing passive. That match lasted SEVEN minutes DX. Idk how people can choose to do that and keep it up
@@morkk5945 Cuz energy, when I meet people and play kinda ego they always get mad. I just play for the sake of combos and one part involves waiting for the opponent to attack first. Patience is a highkey factor, and Passive means you're actively doing something

Agreed. I wish the game would reward aggressive play rather than passive play. its one of the reasons i didnt go past 2132 elo cuz beyond that point everyone is either abusing broken weps/legends, is passive, or a combination of the two.

@@JJProdIt no they do, the only difference is that this guy would play passive, but when there was an opening he wouldnt take it which just made him look more passive to a lower elo player (no offense ofc), when in reality hes actually making missplays by not attacking. every pro with success does the same thing, its just that when the opponent inevitably misses, a more experienced player will then take advantage of that and get some damage in while this guy likely just isnt good enough yet to see those openings and ends up shooting himself in the foot by not attacking. boomie explained this in a recent video aswell like with sandstorm. sandstorm is easily one of the most passive players, its just that when his opponent makes a mistake he goes in and get alot of damage, then goes back to sharking.
I have missed probably 1.5 years of content after quitting brawlhalla. Did something happen between them or…? Because last I remember was Sandstorm being everything BUT passive😅. That being said I don’t watch tournaments ever since Sandstorm retired with Kor
nah it wasn't shade he was just using him to put it into perspective cause a lot of people know sandstorm as the best brawlhalla player and see clips and assume hes aggressive
@@snowcrow8784 Passive is fine as long as it's being used properly, Sandstorm waits out attacks and parries which is passive play and is rewarding for scythe, gauntlets you can be more aggressive, but it's not like sandstorm just sits still and waits for the attack, he pushes up a bit, pressures, if he feels no oppression from the opponent he throws out his own attack, that's really the best way to play, Kamaal is doing worse than passive he's just running all game
This has to be another level of passive...Even when he dodged and it was his turn to punish, he wouldn't attack. I counted at least 6+ times when he could've punished Boomie in the first match and he was so passive that he just tried running away instead. Idk who that Kamaal guy is but him and every other passive player that is like this need to uninstall immediately. Him being passive is one thing...but being so passive that you don't even punish when you should clearly be punishing is beyond wild and massively painful to watch. I almost had a seizure because I was getting to pissed off about him not doing a single thing for 95% of the match. SWING YOU FOOL! DAMN!
how can you nerf passive now though? Without nerfing dodge I mean, like add something like in Strive we have positive bonus and negative depending on if you're playing aggressively or passively
Kamaal was in flower's video yesterday. He keeps getting rolled by pros lol I got so annoyed just watching him play. I can't imagine playing against him. He might be worse than megD
i played a guy 3x worse than the kamaal guy, he was playing normal in the first match when he lost but in the rematch... he just stood still on the other side of the map and crossed when i got close and weapon throwed and did unarmed punishes every now and then + 2 weapon hits here and there... it ran all the way down to the end of the timer and i died... ngl massive skill issue on my part my approaches and reads were sloppy i gotta admit but it was hella cringe
