A possible reason why Paris is shown with sheep is because he’s often depicted as being raised by shepherds who found him as an abandoned child. As for why he’s a child as a Servant... the only explanation was “Apollo messed with his Saint Graph, similar to what Artemis did to Orion”.

@@ariezon Slavery wasn't so normal in western Europe at this time, and even in the places where it was, the ways he treated his own men wasn't much better. But that's still a good point; there are a LOT of historical figures who were probably worse than we think. Columbus just stands out to me because he often gets treated as some kind of saint, like many of the US presidents are, despite being clearly far worse than any of them if you actually study what he did. (The Presidents weren't saints of course, but none of them let their men tear natives apart and parade the pieces through town as a warning.) Slavery became normal a bit later, and the stuff other Conquistadors did likewise one-upped Columbus in atrocity. But they don't get romanticized that much.
Funny thing, but Jeanne’s bust may actually be accurate! In most accounts where she’s mentioned by others at the time, her beautiful face and form are mentioned, along with the fact that she seemed so pure and holy, it was impossible to feel lust for her (over time, this became a legend that if you lusted for Jeanne d’Arc, God himself would smite you with impotence). It’s more an offshoot of the original story. In the novel he made the male first and freaked out because his eyes were strange and he didn’t get personal interactions (though he was intelligent, articulate, and quite handsome besides the eyes). He chased his creator because he wanted a companion/wife and when his creator betrayed him then things turned murder-y. In the fate verse he made the woman first and she wound up more like the stereotypical “monster” but it’s a call back to the story that she wears the wedding dress/veil.

Funny thing about Caesar and why he is fat in FGO, and why that is mythologically or historically accurate. Because Caesar really liked Fat people , according to Shakespearan lore at least. Cuz Caesar thought fat people is going to be loyal as since they are fed, they have little reason to betray him for they are mostly satisfied. So he like to surround himself with fat people or have fat friends. However that tend to be one of his undoing. As Casca, one of the conspirators is a fat person , and because of this it thrown Caesar off guard as he stabbed him. Casca was most likely the second most surprising conspirator that thrown him off guard beside Brutus.
That's an interesting argument... But honestly, I don't care. Caesar is one of the Servants who we literally have feasible images to compare him to - through the statues of him. I don't usually care when Fate makes changes like this, but for Caesar, it feels like the literal opposite of what it should be, and I didn't see anything try to explain why (if something like that IS there, I forgot about it and this is mostly on me.) This reason is the closest thing to an explanation I've ever seen, but it still feels lesser than most of the internal logic Fate uses. And because of that, I actually have more trouble with Caesar's design than I do with Edison's. Sorry for the rant though lol

His preferred class (and I guess "normal" class) is Rider if I recall, but since he's a Saber we get fat man. Not really an explanation per say but as far as I know his Rider form is the Caesar you would expect. Will we ever get that form? Who knows...
To clarify the appearance of Paris for you. Since Paris is supported by Apollo with his divine protection, Apollo is taking charge to change Paris appearance as a servant. The Paris that we are seeing as servant is a much younger one, then the legends are telling about, just because Apollo is liking him better that way. In addition to that Paris, in this Form, needs Apollo to stand up to his legendary skills as a servant. That means Apollo can look at Paris in his "personal prime", instead of his actual prime and its save that he is staying at his side, because he needs him in this Form.

This is true, but technically... There were a LOT of Greek Pharaohs. As Jens Kosch mentioned, she was descended from on of Alexander the Great's generals. The interesting thing is, Greek-led Egypt was pretty much the only part of Alexander's lands that stayed stable for a relatively long time. For most of that time period, these Greek Pharaohs didn't even learn to speak Egyptian, but I believe Cleopatra went the extra mile and actually learned the language. I would argue that Cleopatra would have the right to call herself both Greek and Egyptian.
My parents especially my mother knows most of the servants in Fate/. She sometimes watching us siblings playing some Fate games or watching the anime from the Nasuverse (most is from the Fate/ series). My mother's favorite is Jeanne D'arc but Mordred due to her backstory from Fate/Apocrypha.

Im going to do this with people who don’t know fate at all. Also one correction I heard: you said Hector killed Achilles, that was Paris (or technically Apollo since he guided the arrow. Hector killed Achilles best friend. In rage he challenged Hector to one on one combat no divinity (in fgo) then when he killed Hector Achellies tied his body to the back of his chariot and dragged it around until The king of Troy begged for his son’s body back to bury it.
Which Is also why he Is a rider. The only time i remember him using chariot in a meaningful way is when he came to challenge Hector and then when he dragged his body through dirt to shame him.
Remember his best friend put on his armor because Achilles didn't want to fight any more. And Achilles' soldiers wouldn't fight without him. When Hector killed him he thought he was fighting Achilles.
This was really nice and fun. Glad to see you have a family that share the same interests as closely as you do. I hope that this becomes more common in the coming years. Would love to see more like this. I would suggest instead of throwing hints you could show the other ascension artworks as some of them might help narrow it down because a few emphasise certain traits. Like Cleo starts off with 'superhero' clothes and then transitions into a dress. Or Mozart's final ascension has an orchestra(although he does still look like an evil mastermind). And the Valkyries being 3 very different characters might've connected the right dots. And in the case that you think the ascensions would be more confusing just use hints as you did.

Blaming Christians for fire and being satan because of it: really, you Christians dare to be angry with him, but then you do the same later? Its the typical scape goat tactic: something bad happens, blame it on people who arent liked by populus (Christians were the weird mysterious cultists back then, no one knew what they were on about and who you dont understand you fear: people even believed they did human sacrifices back then, since they were very secretive). With Nero its "blame fire on Christians and kill them with lions for show" with Christians its "blame famine on jews/witches and burn them at stake for show". I think I just realized something about Paris. Iirc he grew up as a shepherd in the mountains away from Troy until he judged a beauty contest between the Greek Goddesses and chose Aphrodite as the winner of the apple of discord, so that would be a good reason for him to be depicted with that sheep. Also, I think Apollo helped him fire an arrow at Achiles' heel, so that is probably why his heroic spirit form is fused with Apollo.
Paris WAS a shepherd as well as a prince of troy. I guess the pasture makes sense, but I would never have guessed that that was Paris. And I liked him so much that I named my dog Paris (she was a german shepherd mix)!

They wanted to have a nice wedding so they DIDN'T invite Eris (the goddess of discord). Of course she found out and rather than crash the wedding. She wrote on a golden apple "for the most beautiful" and tossed, like the hand grenade that it was, into the festivities. Three goddesses claimed it: Hera, Diana and Aphrodite (I apologize if I'm mixing greek and roman names here). The three went to Zeus, for him to decide, being wiser than some he decided that a 3rd party should make that decision. So, they picked this nobody. A shepherd in the hills. Hera offers him a kingdom if he picks her. Not knowing that he was already a prince. Diana offers him wisdom (he's a kid, he doesn't need wisdom, actually he has brilliant tutors, he's royalty). Aphrodite offers him the most beautiful woman in the world. He awards the apple to Aphrodite. Then when he travels to greece with his father. Helen sees him and falls madly in love. Hence the trojan war.

@@otakudaikun Yeah, man! Not trying to be rude, and maybe I'm not exactly speaking for a large part of your community when I say this, but some of your scripted stuff at times sounds... robotic? It has odd inflection sometimes that is reminiscent of something like Microsoft Sam. It's put me off sometimes from some of your videos (even though the content is what I'm really interested in!). But in this one, you seem to talk much more naturally and human like. It felt like I actually got to hear the person behind the script, I guess. So maybe not *not* scripting your videos, but more trying to sound a little more lax about your topics. Does that make sense?
