The problem with these mods is that they remove the fog effects, make everything looks like glass and that oversaturated colours look annoying.

Agreed - the color cast and fog of the original adds realism. Real life isn't that sharp, clear and saturated.

The popping in is either caused by messed up LODs (level of detail) or by an overflow on your graphics card. Pretty sure its the first one from what I see at 2:34

Yes, you can use project 2dfx and open limit adjuster to reduce flickering by increasing the draw distance.

Yeah, that's not even remotely close to the nicest use of daytime lighting i've seen. Not even by like 2008 standards when this game originally came out. Unless you're on acid and seeing something we're not

You've seen shit games with shit reshades from people who play around with effects not knowing what they're doing. Apparently that's what's up. Don't get me wrong, this looks way better than vanilla but it's nowhere close to even 2020 standards in terms of lighting, shaders and reflections

I literally just got this on the xbox because I missed literally everything about it, like everything is just better haha but if I had a PC I would love this mod You should play a couple missions with this mod. Show the gunplay, ragdoll physics, etc.

going to try this with my AMD Radeon RX 460 2GB edit: so far just using the ENB and not dealing with the rest

@@L321 ok well i can use this ENB and have DXVK chainloading with it and thus the results is 30fps (view and draw distance is turned all the way to the lowest possible) I modified some of the game directory to have any of the HD textures so the graphics do seem to be better than V but it'd need better hardware to play at 60 but 30fps is ok since it's running thing the console version could not

Lock on 30 fps with 720p on RTX 4090, i9-14900K and M.2 NVMe maybe help this game go without starters, but there is no guarantee for modded version 1.0.7.0 after downgrade, especially if you use winter mods with car paks, because engine really don't like global mods.

uh, you get only 60 fps because you turned on "Vsync" in the settings. It synchronizes the image frame rate of your game with your display monitor refresh rate. Maybe that's why you get like only 60 fps. Also, it is a Bugatti Chiron and not a Bugatti Veyron.
