@@t.s.p1864 i second that, if this race was conducted in the gen1 era, i would've agreed with you but Motorsports is catching up in india despite while bieng in nascent stage. Atleast they have ignited the spark. That's something that didn't happen during 2010-2013 when F1 came into India. It wasn't even considered as sports but as entertainment. But with MotoGP too making its way here, i am sure it will make a much bigger impact because its not E racing

Inviting foreign events india won't generate any benefit to the people of India nor the target audience. Do u know why bcoz?? Ur majority audience is younger population and they don't have that level of disposable income to spend on motorsports be it being a mere spectator or as a participant. Arena based motorsports is only for 1 world countries its good u realise that sooner. As a motorsports enthusiast I am damm not interested in helicopter dropped foreign events. I am interested in home grow motorsports events and thier journey to make it big. And current leadership of fmsci and the automobile manufacturing companies in india don't have balls to do that. Tell me 1 indian brand doing rallies apart from mahindra?? These indian brands like tata, mahindra, Bajaj, royal enfiled, eicher, yezdi, don't spend a single f**king penny on grass root level motorsports in india. Where as tvs and hero are at least doing a bit. Until you are able to develop a ecosystem to support grass root motorsports. This formula e, formula 1, and motogp is all bs. Its arena based motorsports the only way generate revenue is by selling tickets.if they can't sell ticket its BS.

Why the f mahindra went into moto3 spent money in Europe did it benifit any indian no, secondly there are indian companies bajaj, tvs, hero, yezdi(mahindra). Where the f is our own motogp?? It's not thier. The same is with cars, and trucks as well. Its only unique in india that auto companies don't come forward in one single event and compete against each other in the respective categories and develop motorsports. Why don't they do it?? Bcoz they think it's just a marketing expense. For eg. Tata conducted tata prima truck racing, 2 seasons. But after that fmasci leadership was not able to invite other truck manufacturers and make it good weekend show. Why. We have five indian truck companies tata, mahindra, eicher, ashok leyland, Bharat benz Why the buggers of fmsci can't get them on board with 2 trucks each and get them racing. Bcoz fmsci is run by bunch of rich babboons who have established the federation of thier own kids motorsports career, if ur outsider u cannot enter. They don't event reply ur mails. These baboons have no vision to develop motorsports.

@@t.s.p1864 well first things no one uses the term 1st world anymore. It's both dated and offensive, secondly yeah Motorsports is a very niche sport but that doesn't mean that only the rich people from European countries can get into it, there are plenty of people from all around the world, irrespective of how thier career turned out to be who are from humble backgrounds. You are true regarding what you say about Motorsports in india but rome wasn't built in a day. The middle East conducts so many events, yet you don't see any middle eastern driver on any racing grids. As far as i remember FIA and FIM are going to conduct Formula 4/Regional in India. And not every country, even the European ones has a active "Motorsport" culture. And you can't blame the sport itself, it's ultimately the government, and the citizens to atleast try. Even Football is struggling here in india, Olympic medallists are protesting in Jantar Mantar, people worshipping cricket. So Motorsports despite best efforts will take time. One can only hope if Drivers like Daruwala make it big and/or more races being conducted in india every year. That would definitely push it forward. In the meantime MotoGP, F1, Fe can engage audiences from all around the world which will help boost the economy, Motorsports and tourism, not to mention employment. So be realistic not pessimistic/optimistic.

They won't be coming on Formula E. Because it's not their Game. Either they will be selected as a second side drivers (Not a regular FE drivers) just like Jehan Daruvala was a Second side driver in Mahindra racing.
