His rotor is a ceiling fan folks...a freak ceiling fan. It has no swash plate or controls...it is an upside down ceiling fan... this man is simple.

This man has the intellect of a 7 year old. He has NO IDEA what he's doing. He thinks he just needs to make something that looks like a helicopter to make one. It's like the Cargo Cults of the S. Pacific after WWII to summon Army cargo planes. They'd make fake airfields, lined with planes made of sticks and leaves, complete with a control tower with a radio operator talking into a coconut.

In African Standards this man is a Genius, considering that the piece of Junk he built will never ever fly, he still is africas Brightest mind. NASA should look at his project and get a few pointers from this 21st Century Genius. His next project is a Mission to the Sun ! Yes, "The Sun". His plan is to build a pedal powered rocket and embark on a mission to the Sun. Now, because the Pedal Powered Rocket will be build solely from recycled cardboard, to avoid being scorched by the extreme heat, the Mission will only travel at night.

He’s got a rotor that has no aerofoil and couldn’t generate any lift but then he sticks 4 paddles between the rotors just to make sure it generates as much drag as possible. It’s made from wattle-and daub. Like their houses

3:33. “Do you think this thing will fly?l” Reply “errr why not” Because it’s a 2 ton pickup truck with a ceiling fan on the roof. Why don’t they just make a flexwing trike. An old hang glider wing costs nothing compared to what he’s spent on this Jurassic park model. Then a small amount of aluminium tubing to make the trike unit and a small engine. There’s a bloke in Brazil made loads of them using a motor bike engine and the prop connected to the front sprocket shaft. They fly great and cost nothing. I saw an African attempt at a flex wing made from black polythene, it looked like a giant injured bat riding a bicycle.

this thing can never fly.....first of all the blades on top cant generate lift.....they are too flat and the aircraft is to heavy for levitation.....he is also supposed to use a little bit of wood to reduce the weight

I doubt it will take flight without the help of God .. When I was a little boy , I drafted plans and built a plane out of plywood , Shaped a propeller with a wood rasp , My under carriage was from a wagon and dreamed of flight and soaring . Then one day when complete . I got aboard and coasted down the drive .. In my mind .. I took flight and left the surly bonds of earth in my imagination .. I flew ..
