I’m starting to believe that none of these guest actually watch our games, I don’t think they actually know what’s going on at Oklahoma right now. I disagree with most of what this guy said. I believe there’s a national narrative and that’s what everyone runs with and they don’t know much else

So MAX says benching Arnold was bad. I suppose his answer is to keep rolling Arnold out there, turning the ball over, running out of pockets that are holding at the time, etc. Arnold needs to figure out what is going wrong.

You can ruin a kid by keeping him out there losing more and more confidence. Pull him early explain why and continue to work with him on reading defense and security the ball.

@@MrWalkwaySc2except Burks was open on his interception and he decided to throw into triple coverage. Even then it was a week pass that was going to be behind his guy. And Javonte Barnes had daylight on the pitch at the 5 and he didn't pitch it and insteae ran straight into the line and fumbled.

Even if we only win 6 games no way BV gets fired. He's pretty much guaranteed next season and possibly the next after that. They know the issue is injuries and pressure from donors and athletic director to start Arnold because of how much money was spent on him. Plus BV had a big contract extension. He's got another 2 seasons minimum before being fired. I can tell you Seth litrell probably won't be here next season.

@alphadragongamingFTW I like the response. Personally, I think the entirety of the problem is what, 6 down in the WR room, and 5 down on the O-line? Tough to know what the play calling would even look like. Or the success rate. I hope they are patient I think BV is right for the job.

Run the Army version of the Wishbone. By the way, Teddy and Gabe insisted that Schmitty would improve the team. So if the defense is physically stronger that doesn't help if the offense can't score any points.

I think OU can score some points with Hawkins at QB but it isn't going to change the pathetic running game or the playcalling which has been abysmal. I think we've seen enough of a sample size from Littrelll to safely say we need a new OC.

@@gincain7988 That the O-line isnt nearly the whole problem and that JA isn’t to blame. The O-line play has NOT been nearly as bad as it has been made out to be. They have been taking the blame by those who simply don’t know any better. There have been many instances where the line did their job and cleared a running lane with no uncovered defender within 20 yards and JA pulls the ball from the RB and throws the ball, only to miss! He has completely missed seeing wide open receivers downfield while having plenty of time to make the throw. JA absolutely has the skills, but he just isn’t seeing the field in a timely manner if he sees it at all.

@@jammerlr7780 Agreed. There is a reason Venables is taking out the RPO. These young QBs just aren't seeing it. A bad read in the RPO makes everyone on the offense look bad.
