Can Picafort also known as C'an Picafort is a coastal holiday resort on the northern coast of Mallorca. Situated along the bay of Alcudia in the municipality of Santa Margalida this town is full of sun, fun and summer buzz.
History and Culture
Like many towns in this part of Mallorca Can Picafort is close to many early Bronze Age settlements, so has a very ancient history. This popular coastal resort is so developed you would be forgiven for thinking that it was purpose-built. In fact Can Picafort developed from being a small fishing village and has now transformed completely.
Can Picafort is now a very popular resort which is positively bustling during the summer season and mostly caters to German visitors, although you will find some bars aimed at British and Irish tourists. Here you will find everything that you would expect to enjoy an active, entertaining beach holiday.
