Either you love what God loves & dislike what He dislikes or you don't!! You can not serve two masters ❤️ Preach the gospel of Jesus & there should be no division - one body.

god loves the murdering of men, women, children, babies, and fetuses in the great flood - do you? god loves animal sacrifices. do you? god loves mock executions, (like abraham to his son) - do you? god loves destroying lives to prove a point (like Job) - do you? the list is long. maybe you need to pick a consistent ethical lane.

"progressive" Christians?... Do you mean "Lukewarm" as described by Christ in Revelation 3?

Yes, that's what a Lukewarm Christian is, which isn't a Christian. We can't go half way to believe.

Hmmm family will be torn apart, there will be a line in the sand and we will not all agree and this is the truth of it. We do not water down the gospel because someone got their meanings wrong. Tell them to read the Bible first and foremost.

What is a progressive Christian? A christian follows Christ!! Period!!!Scripture States "Do not be entangled w/the things of this life..."

We had a great sermon last Sunday night on the need to focus on the scriptures in living our lives. While understanding not everyone sees the Bible the same way (or literally) there are basics that can't be changed such as: Loving your neighbor as yourself Following God's law (only law that was nullified was keeping orthodox/kosher) Forgiveness Church discipline (as described by Peter/Paul, etc). We all know plenty of "nondenominational" churches that don't practice church discipline and they're just as bad as the liberal churches that don't follow the law. I'm specifically calling out mega churches that allow couples who are living together to attend or remain members too.

Jesus just wants us to love. But in my circle of trust, I project my conservative old views on controversial issues to make clear where I stand, particularly for my children. At the same time, teaching the kiddos inclusion, love, non-judgment views in order to promote the Heart of Jesus. Jesus said the road was narrow. If I believe in Jesus, and if I believe the Bible is true, then I must walk a very fine line of Living and Loving like Christ while respecting and holding the laws and expectations of God Almighty the Creator. There will be a strong split within the church. This is happening because the People of today that can’t follow the laws of God, will be spewed out of Gods mouth. Only true repentance and a true relationship with Jesus will pull us through the impending reality of Christ’s return. This is a topic that must be talked about and shine the light in the darkness.
