There a no tutorials on how to clean sneakers from outer space until today!
Happy Thursday to the best community here on RU-vid! We appreciate your continuous support of the channel as it wouldn't be possible with out all of you. In today's Shoe Care Academy Cleaning Tutorial our very own Creative Director Doug is going to walk us though how he cleans a pair of Nike Space Hippies that are literally trashed! Doug is utilizing our Essential Shoe Cleaning kit to give these kicks a thorough pretreatment before tossing them in the washer with our Sneaker Laundry Detergent pods. We bet there are some aliens tuning in right now to learn how to keep their entire rotation looking great!

One thing you guys can do, is get a shoe really filthy. Let it sit for about 6 months to a year and leave it in the background throughout your videos. Then, 6 months to a year later, use your products to clean it and show us 😁

Thats a good idea Ik sure Ig would work and show us what the cleaner actually does but i dont think any of us, the customers are gonna have shoes sitting for 6+ months.

Not flamin you but the crater foam is actually the blue part which has scraps from the floors of factories and old grinded up shoe soles. The part you called crater foam was the recycled zoomX which is made of the scraps for the produced soles of the other zoomX soles.

We recommend using Reshoevn8r laundry detergent because it was developed specifically for sneakers and is free from dyes and chemicals. However, you can use other detergents but we highly recommend dye-free detergents if using another brand.

Just found my old adidas Superstars in almost perfect condition, but wanted an extra shine so I used salon care 40 for soles. Became yellow after couple of hours on sun. Any ideas why? And what to do?

I don’t think that’s reversible. I had a pair of UB 3.0 Triple White’s that got oxidized (turned yellow) on the heel cup when I tried to get all the unusual pink and green marks on it. It got rid of the marks, but turned the plastic heel cup yellow.
