You know alot of people say the show is rigged. But quite honestly, I've seen Gordon loose a lot of cooking challenges on the show. And other ones. No doubt hes a masterchef; but sometimes he over critiques his own food in too much of a narcicistic way. The reaction was priceless tho. He really thought Jean-Baptiste was going to give him the win. He was so shocked lol
@@mystifyingmints9910 I know he's lost cooking challenges before in this show. But I don't think he has lost this badly. The reason for his bewildered expression wasn't because he lost. Rather it was because he lost 4-1. That's why he was so shocked.
@@ashleelmb no, a smart man chooses a woman who already has the same lead, not behind or in front. This why you fail at picking women. There is a saying in my country, rougthly translated is: Dont choose a woman that does not enjoy the same type of music as you.
Ronnie was such a genuine sweetheart. Very missed in my own household whenever old comedian shows pop on TV or little appearances of his like this come around. They just don’t make them like Ronnie anymore, that’s for sure. He was so lost in that kitchen but loved every second of it, & his face when he won was completely priceless. Bless him x
janey rekats May I ask what the extended ‘.....’s’ are for my lovely? Unless that’s just how you type? I wasn’t sure if you were being sarcastic or not, it’s hard to read emotion / tone online ! However, to respond to your comment; although humour is subjective, I do find way too many comedians rely on the topics you’ve mentioned to get by in their career. No one seems to be ‘innocently’ cheeky yet funny on a comedian level anymore - at least not very many, anyway ! I always find comedians far more funny when they’ve gone out of their way to avoid those topics & be unique to themselves. :)
Ronnie Corbett, intelligent, dignified, amazingly funny, kind and a great cook, seriously this man was a true legend :) Also love how just like each other him and Anne were, they were so alike, perfect match for each other.
Niko Gambino On the bright side, he died at age 85, a rich man with a full career and loving family, willing all of his millions to his adoring wife and their daughters, famous and beloved by all. He was even honored with a star-studded memorial at Westminster Abbey. So, all things considered, call it a life VERY well lived.
I love how Gordon tells him self to watch his language around Ronnie. Shows that he is truly a nice man and isn’t the giant ball of anger and cursing that the American shows make him out to be
It depends on the programme. On anything with amateurs he is much calmer and polite esp on things like junior masterchef. But if someone calls themself a chef and can't produce edible food it is like a red rag to a bull.
Here in the US all of Ramsey’s stuff is about yelling and screaming, but if you watch his UK stuff you see more of his cooking and personality. He really is a sweet guy, and seems like a lot of fun.
And yet it's the same man. Editing for different audiences, perhaps? Of course, I hear Brits all the time talking about how Americans are overly sensitive to profanity and such...yet how can that be true and his shows here have more of it than his shows over there? Paradoxical I suppose. But he's fun to watch, either way.
I just came across this video. It's the coolest, sweetest thing, brings back so many memories. See, I always loved 'The Two Ronnies', they both were so nice. Bless him, he surely is being missed
I can't believe how good Ronnie still looks. I'm 46 & I remember watching The 2 Ronnies on TV when I was a little kid & he didn't look much different than he does here. I guess laughter really is the best medicine.
I love it when Gordon says" Your not going to serve it with all that shit outside are you?". Put in perspective Gordon is amongst the best in the culinary world. Ronnie is also in that bracket in the world of comedy and I find it amusing how he talks to his elders when it comes to food he doesn't give a fuck hahahahaha.Miss lil Ronnie he was a gem.
Ronnie Corbett the legend! Miss you Ron thank you for the lovely letter you sent me I often read it, not many people would take the time to send out personal letters to their fans. You were truly special.
These cooking contests in The F Word are brilliant. All the good home cooks are reminding us that good food is not about serving what's in fashion at the moment.
Every time I see him I think of Sorry! Great show. They aired it on pBS in Chicago in the 80s I believe or early 90s. Of course I watched the two Ronnie’s too after Doctor Who. Sunday nights were the best
Does he ever win any of these, on a side note what a sweet old couple and I enjoyed seeing that spaz Ramsey trying his best to be patient and respectful
Ronnie is a treasure. What a delightful human being. The banter between them is also fantastic. I much prefer this version of Gordon, over him screaming at people.
ah MAN this show had its little charm to it that i fucking loved. I didn't know how i was gonna feel about the series back in the day, but off the popularity of hells kitchen I gave it a chance and man F word was the shit! I loved this show and I love these little competitions he had, and how Jean Baptist would put him in suspense with the results all the time lmao.
Anne hit the nail right on the head. Cooking should not be rushed. (or stressful) Slow down and enjoy your cooking with your favourite glass of vino or even a nice coffee.
