That's ok! There are more people who shop during the day at that sale or the next day that can afford to pick up that item just because they may want it for themselves or a gift. I've furnished my entire house from garage sales. It's wonderful.

Garage sales are not for selling stuff cheap! Says who? Who made that rule up? Homeowners can profit too!!! And we do! I'm so happy for my respectful, thoughtful customers who don't mind paying up for quality goods and getting to see it, touch it, or try it on without having to pay a shipping fee on eBay or eBay prices. I also give reasonable offers to customers if they ask. Just because I don't sell on eBay doesn't make my way to earn money any less than another person. Many of us who sell at garage sales know how to look items up and the SOLD COMPS for those steals and deals people are looking for. Quality items or antiques don't need to be sold CHEAP just because it is being sold out of someone's house. Maybe they are paying for future medical needs, a car issue, helping save for their children's college fund? Who knows! I've been running my garage sales for 17 years and make money the way I want each time I do it. Hard work and all! I'm so thankful for my wonderful customers in my area and surrounding area who are happy and can pay the amounts I ask for. I guess it's a thing to get those items for next to nothing or give them an extra quarter rounding up their price marked as they don't realize what they have. Maybe they don't care? Maybe they have an item for free and you give them a 20.00 but it's worth 200.00. Why tell that person? Right? Finders keepers. I see how the game is played. The way to play the game is to not tell the person what they have. Why bother? They don't care or need the extra money. Right? You found it for 5.00 and flipped it for 500.00. Who would ever tell that person what they have? Cheap, cheap, cheap is how to find items out in the wild and hold the secret for what it's really worth. That takes skill and good, ethical practices, right? I mean, they marked it that price and / or had it for free. Finders keepers, I say! Then, when a sale comes along and prices are wrong or overpriced, the kindness has a bit of an edge to it. How dare they? They have it for 20.00 and sold comps are for 10.00. Big deal! Let them sit on it or figure it out on their own to correct a mistake. It's not a good look to show it for others to berate it. A two day sale they may take discounts on day two not day one when there is an abundance of shoppers out who can still afford to pay up for that unique item they just may want for their house or present. There are lines at estate sales, people waiting in cars for garage sales. Seems to me the people running their sales don't have to worry about the ones who didn't get their more valuable items because they knew what they had.

They were definitely outlet! Sell for $20-$30.

Coach outlets sell authentic Coach, though.

@@dianajemison105 Yes they are real, and made by Coach, but they are made specifically for the outlets. The quality is a bit lower, and not as many options at the outlets. I always thought the outlets sold last seasons designs or over stock, but they don't. Coach specifically makes bags for the outlets.

Yes, the Coach Outlet items are of a lesser quality but you can still make a profit if you get them cheap enough.
