No problem! Here's the information about the Mercedes CLK GTR: The Mercedes CLK GTR is a remarkable racing car celebrated for its outstanding performance and sleek design. Incorporating advanced aerodynamic features and cutting-edge stability technologies, the CLK GTR ensures exceptional stability and control, particularly during high-speed maneuvers. Originally priced around $1.5 million, the Mercedes CLK GTR is considered one of the most exclusive and prestigious racing cars ever produced. $ Its limited production run of just five units adds to its rarity, making it highly sought after by racing enthusiasts and collectors worldwide.
Tim, I can tell you that this CLK GTR Roadster looks phenomenal. I never heard of this car until I saw the Sultan of Brunei's car collection. I wouldn't really drive it (mainly because it's super low to the ground), but it really is a marvel of engineering.
@@Rocky-hh3ygThe 2 fixed roof CLK GTR "Super Sport" had the 7.3L V12 that the later Zonda models had. Shame there weren't any Roadster Super Sports as well. The absolute unicorn is the V8 engine CLK *LM* Road Car, of which there is only one ever produced.
I've seen the CLK-GTR roadster in person, and it really is incredible. One of five I believe. Prefer the original hard top though. Those straight cut gears are perfection
Me neither and I clicked on the video without realizing. My jaw dropped when I saw it. I didn't know the doors went up either, and the engine note under load sounds amazing!
I saw a regular CLK Gtr in Sarasota Florida many years ago some really rich guy owned it, he had many expensive cars, I saw him driving an Enzo one day, Porsche Carrera GT another day. It was a beautiful car to see on the road though.
I remember when these came out and using it while playing Grand Tourismo. Car was so sick looking. Even compared to all the modern super cars this thing still looks so beautiful next to anything. The fact the had to do what they did to get that car on the tow truck is scary. There's got to be a safer truck with a little bit of room for error. If that's done done perfectly and something breaks your screwed lol
Shmee150 Absolutely Incredible Video I think it's absolutey incredible that that Fastrr bought that Absolutely incredible Mercedes CLK GTR Roadster and that he plans on driving it as it should be and I think it absolutely insane with Fastrr's Absolutely insane Zonda Revolucion
The coupe has always been be dream car since I saw it at around the same age as Tim, around 10 years old. It is my dream unlimited money car, along with the 1 of 1 UK factory spec SLS black series in solorbeam.
Such a gorgeous car and this plus the McLaren F1 are what all supercars are based off for the most part. To me this car is a total gem made before it's time also seeing one drive a week with other supercars will be insane hope they can keep it handled
go on.. i thought the kid's name was Devin Suter, but have never been able to find details on him. Devin Boden online isn't the same guy... but curious if you know all the connections?
to think the CLK-GTR(M297 v12, a derivative of the M120) and CLK-LM(M119, actually the better car) both were both around when the Zonda C12 was new. The Zonda C12(M120, later variants used the improved M297. Point is they both sound great) itself was famously inspired by the Sauber-Mercedes C9 and C11:both of which were powered by twin turbo-charged M119s. You can find N/A M119 units powering the R129(it actually launched with this chassis as the flagship, a personal favorite),W140,C140 and W210. In short the easiest way to own any of the CLK-GT1 spec cars is to own a Zonda C12 or Zonda R(if you consider that easy, please teach me).
6:55 "I don't change things a lot." Hears Ford Focus GT, Ford GT, Mercedes SLS, Mercedes G63 & Mercedes GTR Black Series scream "Are we a joke to you?"
Do you really need to use the clutch on every gear change, isnt it like f1 cars where you use the clutch only for first and then continue just with the paddels?
Huge Mercedes and Porsche fan, but this CLK has never done much for me. Call me crazy but id take Schmees black series GT over the CLK eight days a week
If it were MY CLK GTR Roadster, (oh man, I wish it was), I’d have a wheel shop custom make replicas of the original wheels but in a size that matches current available tires. ❤❤🤤
