Day 2 of my trip to Machrihanish in summer 2021. Today we played Machrihanish GC, a course I had not played since the Scottish Ladies was held there in 2011. It started off a relatively calm day but the wind really got up making this links course even harder. One of my best rounds of the year which meant there was only one way to celebrate!

Fantastic round Rach. I spent most summers there as a kid on the beach and swimming just up the road at Bellochantuy. Wondeful memories. Looking forward to going back and playing at Machrihanish next year.

Very well played Rachel. Mad to be getting in the sea like that but fair play in honouring the agreement. I expect something to warm you up was had in the pub.

Brilliant play Rachel on a great course, there is a smashing little links course just down the road at Dunaverty, my brother in law was based in the area when we were both in the RAF so got to play Dunaverty.

Great video and well played. 👏👏👏 Out of all the courses ive been lucky enough to play, Machrihanish golf club is my favourite! (Although it was a lot greener in September when I played it.) Question: Did you have the haggis nachos on the second night too?? (Cos I know I did. 🤣🤣 they were mega tasty. 😋😋😋)
