@@SaskFisher yeah not much ice here locally. But we are being told that up North (further) there is thick ice. I’ll still be opting out I’m in thinking. Been in some sketchy scenarios. I have to edit some vids this weekend and get the seed swap orders ready. Be safe out there.
The burbot footage was SICK! To miss him, then have him try to eat the camera, to redemption and catching him once you got back down. Can't be beat. I don't think the camera scares away too many. Heck, that big perch I caught literally brushed up onto mine before hitting my spoon. I've heard Crappie really shy away from it but I have no proof.
Cut the burb into scallops about an inch thick, boil them for a few minutes in a pot with a can of beer and equal parts water. Dip the cooked burb in garlic butter. TOP SHELF! Great slay day guy.
