One night during a snowstorm last month the lights were out and my family were all sick with nothing to do. I grabbed an old phone we have and turned on the radio. And this one channel, Play Radio, I think it's Czech or something, plays all sorts of songs, there's no categorization. Ariana's "breathin" plays now, then "Take Me To Church" comes next. No filter whatsoever and I love it because that's exactly what my music taste is like 😅 After one hour or two, this beauty comes up. And I go, oh snap!! This song, this SONG! And I don't recall vibing harder to a rediscovered song before 🤣
I loved this song when I was little! I heard it on the radio a few weeks ago so I've had in my head for a while.. No matter what else I listen to, it wouldn't go away. So I'm feeding my obsession. It's such a great song! And so different from what I usually listen to but a little change is always good!
For those wondering, the other musicians are backing vocalists Niki Haris and Sue Ann Carwell, guitarist Tim Pierce, bassist Leland Sklar, drummers Curt Bisquera and John Robinson, pianist Alan Pasqua, keyboardist-bassist Jamie Muhoberac, and orchestra arranger David Campbell.
@@weasley2o13 And let's not forget the lady who wrote the lyrics: the unbeatable Diane Warren. Also responsible for such songs as "Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now" and "Unbreak My Heart".
The woman who wrote the lyrics is Dianne Warren. She wrote a lot of love songs for pop, country and, r&b singers. You probably heard most of her songs before.
Under a lover's sky Gonna be with you And no one's gonna be around If you think that you won't fall Well just wait until 'Til the sun goes down Underneath the starlight, starlight There's a magical feeling so right It will steal your heart tonight You can try to resist Try to hide from my kiss But you know, but you know that you Can't fight the moonlight Deep in the dark, you'll surrender your heart But you know, but you know that you Can't fight the moonlight, no You can't fight it It's gonna get to your heart There's no escaping love Once the gentle breeze Weaves its spell upon your heart No matter what you think It won't be too long (not too long) 'Til you're in my arms Underneath the starlight, starlight We'll be lost in the rhythm, so right Feel it steal your heart tonight You can try to resist Try to hide from my kiss But you know, but you know that you Can't fight the moonlight Deep in the dark, you'll surrender your heart But you know, but you know that you Can't fight the moonlight, no You can't fight it No matter what you do The night is gonna get to you Don't try, you're never gonna win, oh Underneath the starlight, starlight There's a magical feeling, so right It will steal your heart tonight You can try to resist, try to hide from my kiss But you know, but you know that you Can't fight the moonlight Deep in the dark, you'll surrender your heart But you know, but you know that you Can't fight the moonlight No, you can't fight it You can try to resist, try to hide from my kiss But you know, don't you know that you can't Can't fight the moonlight Deep in the dark, you'll surrender your heart But you know, but you know that you Can't fight the moonlight No, you can't fight it It's gonna get to your heart
THIS USED TO BE MY FAVORITE SONG WHEN I WAS YOUNGER BUT FOR THE PAST FEW YEARS I HAVENT BEEN ABLE TO REMEMBER WHAT SONG IT WAS... I FINALLY FOUND IT IM SO HAPPY

When I was younger, my mom was a fan of Coyote Ugly so I grew up knowing all the words to all of the songs from the movie. It surprised me aswell a few days ago when I was sitting in class whisper-singing this song, when I haven't listened to it for close to 8 years.
I was three when this song came out, and I remember listening to it by my aunts pool when I was really little and I loveddd it! I heard it tonight, and I havent heard it in so many years! Still love it, best song :)
Its like on the radio they’re getting bored with reggaeton and now they’re playing this classics...this one and “Baby one more time” are playing in repeat all day. The good ones are coming back
Any one in 2023 this song still hits good. I remember this song in 2001. I was 11 when I heard this song. I am 33 years old and married now. This song is made for lovers and married couples.
Oh my gosh, THANK YOU!!! I've been thinking of Sailor Moon because of an AMV I watched to this song. But I'm in love with the thought of James, Sirius, Peter, and Remus singing this.
It's really weird that Diane Warren wrote this song saying that she never fell in love ... how can she write these things then? I am very intrigued by this.
Doesn't seem so hard to understand. The human heart longs to love. Even if someone's never properly fallen in love, that longing still remains. And it often expresses itself in very passionate and artistic ways.
It's obvious, sadly. All these songs are mere distractions. To get people obsssesed with compartively unimportant things. Many people - mostly because of songs like this relentlessly pushed into their ears- get depressed because they don't have a girlfriend or boyfriend.
The feeling of the song is beautiful. It was also one of the best romantic movies for me because the song I have the impression is single. The voice of LEANN is amazing and it fit the girl in the movie amazingly. The end of the movie ..I think stays in your heart.
I remember that my mom would always put this song on when I feel angry or sad when I was little after my mom saw Coyote Ugly in theaters. My mom said to me after she saw the film, "I think you're gonna love this one, Molly!" When I heard the song for the first time, I instantly fell in love with it. I was 4 years old when the song and movie came out. This song gives me great memories and will always be one of my favorites.
I was 4 years old when this song came out. I remember listening to it in the car when my family and I went to San Antonio in the summer. I'm now 27. Such a beautiful song; I can't think of any rival.
Why is this so much catchier than every song now? Older music is so much better than modern music, because back then, people actually had talent. Now, the people who have talent can't afford to make professional music. Notice how people like Ariana Grande are super popular. It's because they can actually sing.
What I like about this like joint is that it switches notes back and fourth. It doesn't just ride on there same note like most of these songs these days.... I'm a musician and that's when music was music. Of course most no-musicains listens mostly to the words but I listen to that music. It's the challenge of playing music. Yeah u hear climbing in the notes of music but I'm talking about switching back and fourth to different notes Is ideal in my mind. That's real music to me.
I was born in 2005 despite this movie coming out 5 years before I was born, I have watched it half a million times and it's my favorite movie of all time
Nyotalia Ancient Rome I always thought of Sailor Moon as well. Especially the part about "you can't fight the moon light," & Usagi fights evil by moonlight & wins love by daylight. Ya I know it might b a little corny but I just couldn't help it, needed 2 b said.
Came here to cleanse from the most recent edition of I Can See Your Voice where Leann Rimes sang this in a sped up version. I needed to hear the original. Love this song.
