I came because I wanted to show my support for your courage in speaking truth at the men’s conference. This very afternoon, we had contractors come out to plan our outdoor kitchen, they will be building an alter instead. Every “happy, coincidence” that has happened in my life, has been God, guiding me closer to him. I will pray for you Pastor, may the Lord continue to use you as a vessel.
My stronghold used to be pornography until one day I said enough is enough. I was tired of the shame, guilt, and remorse that came along with it. The very next day that I decided to repent and put my trust in Jesus, I was a changed person. I tried on my own and failed so many times. Only Jesus can change a person's heart. ☝️✝️🛐
Did that about 10 years ago… we visited about 30+ churches and all were social clubs and did not know The WORD! I used to work in counter culture ministries and came out of a couple myself and my wife was a JW. We would love to have a church family but till then I hold my family together and pointing the way toward Our God Jesus The Christ!!’ 🙏🏼❤️🙏🏼
They didn’t know the word or they went over the basics of the word on Sunday mornings and during the week there are no maturer christians attending or leading study. I recently talked to a very prideful and immature Christian who thought they were extremely advanced in their theology, yet churches kept chasing them out when they try to teach rules around rules that they followed, she didn’t realize she was a Pharisee and while she needed those limitations on her life, not everyone needed that. I have probably met 1000 people that say they don’t attend church because churches are not mature or relevant enough for them. I want you to really think about that. Everyone refers to the milk or meat verse about spiritual maturity. The reality of the situation from the different people I’ve heard say that is they are not college level mature Christians as they think (even if they have a theology degree) but they are no longer baby Christians or even toddler or children Christians, they’re typically junior high level Christians no longer on milk but they like to call the junk food they focus on the meat and they don’t realize that some of what they need to work on is the basics from gossip to mercy and those who are like humble children really are the ones best suited to teach them. Remember David wasn’t perfect, but he was the one said to be after God’s heart. God has a heart for Christian unity and we are commanded not to neglect the gathering together of saints. If a church actually says you should sin and you go to them and point out the sin and they don’t turn away from it that’s different from just being the basics were Sunday morning introduces people to the characteristics of God somethings that our children especially need if they were raised in a Christian home that assumes the children automatically have authentic relationships with God. There are so many different parts of the body. Read Romans 12 in the book of first Corinthians. You might not see all the different parts in the church, because currently all the different parts are not allowed to function in leader ship, that doesn’t mean there aren’t people in the church buildings doing the things that scripture says they do. Don’t miss out, don’t be missing so others miss out. Yes, lead from your home for your own family. But also attend a church that’s local and have an influence on your community.
It would be wonderful to not have anxiety, depression, fear, and whatever else is bad. It's great that Gideon gets to have an actual meeting with Jesus before he dies so he at least has a chance at making some needed changes he might have to make. What about the rest of us?
We have been looking now for 4 years, our church had no spiritual warfare ministry or experience. When i had some crazy stuff happen it seemed like the pastor and elders were just scared! They closed during covid and then required masks for the longest. We havent been back. I bought a book on spiritual warfare from dr karl payne, highly recommended. I would love to find a church with a pastor like mr Driscoll
A church i went to fell down (as in the people spilt from the church) the head pastor left the church and made a new church in his own house. And for half a year it has grown so much that they had to spilt it into 2 different houses. It is more a open talk church so everyone can share there testimonys to the struggles of life. Something i like also they use different verions snd translations rather then stick to 1 way of wording.
I go to a small group that’s comprised of people who used to go to the same church - until it went woke. We’ve grown, others from different churches come, we study the Bible and discuss it. Many of us consider this our church. We started out in a living room. Now we use a location in our village.

such a good word - with how large, woke, and ungodly these mega churches are these days even in conservative areas there is a huge importance for home churches
Is there a specific design or way to make an alter? What material should be used? How big should it be? Should we make sure it is not used like an ordinary shelf (if alters are like shelves)?
I'd love to meet with Jesus. How can that happen? I'd love to have a real and clear meeting with Jesus while I am awake and aware. Dreams and subtle things just won't be enough. Am I being demanding? Yes. Maybe God is not happy with that. I really want the truth and I CERTAINLY DO NOT WANT TO BE DELUDED! How can I genuinely meet with Jesus in person in the real world in the flesh and face to face?
Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God. Other than pouring yourself into seeking and knowing Him better, I would continue to ask Him to show Himself to you in a way that will change you, forever. 💗🙏💗
@@LE-gs9mo I certainly want an actual meeting with God/Jesus. Of God could use angels to get started. The most important thing is (aside from the actual meeting) is to not be deluded or tricked. The Bible (The Word) only shows a few people lucky enough to get an actual meeting. It's no wonder there are problems in the world. It looks like no one is getting actual meetings with God/Jesus. And it looks like there are many people with really strong and genuine faith. It looks like I want a real and true sign from God/Jesus before I actually believe. Maybe that won't work out for me. I just need a genuine and true sign.
Am I actually worshiping money or other things instead of God? I do spend a lot of time trying to get money to pay for things that I enjoy. However, this is not worship. This is just living in the world. Living in the world that God put me and everyone else in. None of us created any of the rules of the world. Everything was already in place before we were even born! We're just living the life that God put us into. Who is God to say that we are doing it wrong? If God doesn't want us dealing with money then God can remove all money from the world. It's one thing to say that people should not be worshiping other gods or demons. It's absolutely ridiculous to say people are trying to worshop money or other things. Money and other things are just part of the world God put us into like the rocks, trees, and other natural things. Sure have an alter to God and no other. To call money some kind of god is ridiculous.
Yeah build your own, but most of all pray about it. And keep your options open. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints has a huge focus on home centered worship, teaching people to actually read the scriptures on your own, and talk about them with your family. You can have peace as soon as you come to God, and feel his love. There is a nice program and people actually so it. Anyone who is struggling to find a church, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
I've been thinking about building my atheist church. I'm not sure what I'd do there but I think atheists need to be able to organize somehow. I need a tax free platform so I can give propaganda speeches for atheist nationalism.

It isn't about taxes, a 403 b church is beholden to the State. They had to close during covid. I wouldn't bother with any of that. Just start actually preaching the truth! Society thirsts to hear it. Speak openly against the glaring sin LGBT etc
There is literally zero honor in paying taxes as a matter of fact you only do it because a giant bureaucratic organization forces you to quit trying to pretend like you're Summit person shelling out tons of tax dollars proudly.
