War Elephants have over 3x as much HP and only cost 10 gold more. On a closed map where mobility matters less, they really shine.

@@jakob244 The delay with War Elephants is also taking so long to gather stone+ make castles + eles produce slow + cost almost 3x as much food per unit, so you need much more vills on food.

Economically, it never makes sense to rebuild TC if you have one. Instead of a TC, you could build mill + mining camp (200 wood). Instead of having villagers spend time X walking to TC and then rebuild TC (TC idle time), you could produce at original TC and have new villagers spend time X walking to where you would have built the new TC. I guess it could make sense if time X is very long, resources at new location are very good, resources at old location are very poor so that villagers have no job if they stay at old location, except for farming with open space. Then you could send a small number of villagers to rebuild TC, while villagers at old site build farms using wood from new location. But no map is like that. Sites with extra food are good for new TCs in castle age, though, which players often do not use when they should.

@@RiskyDramaUploads I just thought it might be spicy and usefull in this case, since it would pluck the hole and still have excellent resources. So it would stop any agression and make it very hard to pressure further lateron.. now he spent time walking, rewalling rewalling, losing a castle etc. Maybe with the fishboom it might still make it worth..
