After 16 hours of stress, searching all over the Internet for answers that came up short and on CPanel for the right area to change which was like looking for a needle in a haystack, this tutorial has saved my sanity. Oh my gosh I tried so many different tutorials from a dozen websites to try to fix this problem and nothing was working! I downloaded two different softwares to try to fix it and seriously just wasted 2 hours of my life and then I followed this video and it is TOTALLY FIXED!! Thank you so, so much! For those that don't use hostgator and were confused about how to find your hosting page like he's using you can go to whois.icann.org/en/lookup?name= and type in your site name to figure out your host! Mine was bluehost.com. Then you go to that site and login and you can find everything he shows you there! Thank you again, webdev maestro!

Thanks Dave, it helped me. I wanted to remove the wordpress from my url when the website is being browsed and changed the siteurl which caused it to break. Now I have restored it back. Thank you for the video ....
OMG! you are a live saver, Great Explanation step by step, i have change an existing domain at the hostgator epanel under my package belling, and i was having the same problem that i could not login to my website and it does not allowed me to change my old domain under the packing belling; however, i followed your instruction and changed my new domain and it works perfectly, Thank you Thank you!
Thank you David! My problem was not quite the same - I set up a new domain name and pointed it to my WordPress site, then did a HTTP redirect on the original domain name to the new domain. I was then unable to access my site properly - I could see only a text version and wp-admin just showed me the same text-only index page. This procedure fixed my problem however, and I can now access the site properly. Thanks again!

Thank you very much! I was given bad directions from a hosting companies blog to fix a "Too many redirects problem" and they suggested I change these url addresses in wp-admin and of course it locked me out. Thanks again for helping me get back on track!

Thanks a ton!! It didn't work initially because I was for some reason copying the site url with the suffix of "wp-admin". REALIZED THAT THE SITE URL AND HOME VALUES SHOULD BE THE SAME URL!

You are my hero! thank you so much! followed your instructions within D9 hosting and was able to find everything very easily. If you use D9, make use of the search on each screen if you don't see the matches as shown in the video. Again, worked for me and took a huge stress off my back! Thanks!
Thank you Maestro this tutorial saved me too! My goodness, I was so stressed out about crashing my site by simply changing a URL name. I have BlueHost, of course the cpanel layout is different, so I used the search box to find the WP Config. Also, it didn't work immediately, I guess there was a background refresh that had to happen, so I had to wait about 20 mins before everything got to working again. Phew! So relieved. Thank you kind sir!
