In this video I share with a easy fix to your not being able to see your welds problem. This is a super easy fix that can be remedied in a few minutes. I ran across this autodark lens on the old interweb one day and saw ‪@truearc8100‬ and took a chance and bought one. I was not disappointed at all, it did every thing they claimed it would. The coolest thing was it was very affordable!!! At the time I purchased it it was around $120.00 USD. I was not sent this lens or sponsored by them. Also this was the first time I used this gas lens from ‪@edgeweldingcups‬ that I won in a IG contest. This lens was a win also, I'm batting 2 for 2 today lol. Hi AC Really like the video today and got the wheel spinning. I have an old Optrel helmet that is dead as the batteries can't be replaced and a very expensive lens to replace. Some have tried to cut open the case but you have to grind it apart. My eyes are too important to bank on that type of repair. TrueArc makes a smaller version of the one you showcased. Unfortunately, they do not recommend using it with TIG welding. The lens you recommend is FINE for TIG welding but it's too big to fit the Optrel. I'm looking at Tefuawe Auto Darkening Welding Lens, True Color Blue Technology, Variable Shade 5-13, 2" x 4.25". Again, thanks for the video!

Hey Adrian. Thanks for the tip. I would much rather have the blue lens too. I just subscribed to your Channel I just watched you base/clear the red Impala Hood. I never add reducer to my CLEAR. But I will try it. Mine mixes 4:1. I won't go past one part reducer tho. I'm the same way with the tack rags. Can't have too many in your life. Thanks will be checking your channel out again soon. How’s this work with a new welding helmet?? Also the lens in cheaper welding helmets the speed glass wear out and the settings become inaccurate meaning you have to crank it all the way to 7 or 8. So cleaning it is useless
