I disagree. I think the D is going to hold the Hogs and Gators in check, and Coach won't call in much from the offense. Much like Oklahoma. But when Bama comes to town, he'll uncork his offense. And Mike Matthews may be a big part of it. GB🍊!!!
You guys can take this how you want, but Mr Nico, well so far I think he's a good QB, and has a pretty good way to go before we consider him great or Heisman material. For the life in me idkw he's in the Heisman discussion as of now. Don't get me wrong, I love the kid and his potential is greater than any other QB in the ncaa, but he is getting better daily. Let's hope Heupel rubs off some QB magic on Nico and we beat uga and Bama! Go Big Damn Orange Baby!!!!!
Yeah you are exactly right, and it’s no insult to Nico to say so. He has not yet had to put the team on his back. Looking forward to him doing more in more SEC play

Nico is a super great person, has a good heart, has a good head on his shoulders, smart, and has more potential than most, well as far as football goes. I just think he needs to be forced, like you said, "to have to put the team on his shoulders" then he'll see what his true job is at Tennessee. I hope for all of VOL nation, that he lives up to his 5⭐& #1 overall reputation!

Boogie- talks all week about how our opponent isnt very good. Also Boogie- after we beat said team and folks say they weren't very good "here we go again, moving the goalposts. TN still hasnt played anyone, said opponent was good and ranked yada yada." I love it.
I think even if Huepel didn't need to unleash Nico Saturday he should give him more than he has and next week even more if he doesn't have to. Because against Bama we will need Nico to takeover this offense and I am very confident he can but he has an opportunity to really get prepped for that game over these next two. After that the whole country will look at Nico differently if he can take out Bama as a redshirt freshman.
Arkansas has lots of turnovers and it’s made our defense look bad because we have put them in impossible situations. Our defense is much better than they look on paper.
I'm curious how Heupel will strategize against Arkansas, while at the same time, not revealing to Alabama, what he may have up his sleeve. Tennessee is holding a lot back in terms of strategy of how they will approach Alabama, I think. A real chess match. Heupel will play it very conservatively, I believe....nothing fancy.
Im a vol fan bit arkansas is better than any team we have played and it's going to be a tough gane tonwin if we don't bring our A-game. Our O-line is whatnworries me. We don't have an O-line that can compete woth real SEC teams. Our offense has to get better...quick.
