@@lamminh2128It's because that all of the units that survived has immunity to the laser debuff effect (but of course, the unit will die because of probably low hp)
(A challenge): Dark reaper,The soul collector: Hey you! YES YOU!!! Dark reaper needs your help to collect the soul of every enemy battler in the game! You will know if he collected a soul from a enemy battler if he kills it, and more than that. If he collects the soul of the same enemy battler 10 times you will be able to use that unit in your loadout!(note that the units they kill won’t count towards the souls that dark reaper collected) But for Lil Doombringer and Lil Turking, just kill their boss once, and be warned, the Tumore enemies have completely different souls!(you need dark reaper to kill them in also their alternative forms)Dark reaper knows it’s gonna be a long and hard job,so he has 3 effects to make it more easier 1:All battles are on 1 star,No more, No less. 2:you may have three unlocked battlers in your loadout. 3:All units MUST be in their alternative form when entering the Tumore dimension. Oh right, and the card units? They can take his place! You can have 1 card unit take Dark reaper’s place in a level (now if this unit kills a battler it counts as a soul collected for dark reaper!) And you can have up to 3 in your loadout making a total of 7 battlers in your deck! Good luck getting all of the souls!
Now at 6 months later we have an even easier way! Deleter. Terminator alongside the laser *effect* has ridiculously high damage. However with the help of deleter who has shit damage but the laser is an actual effect meaning characters with Omni immune like statue, hoarder (ironically), and tarnished/tumored trowel as well.
funny thing is that the reason why terminator can instakill most your units but not your base is because the laser counts as a status effect which means that theoretically, hoarder battler can tank him... if it weren't for his low health. edit: both trowel and builder's walls also can't be instakilled because they're immune to all status effects
If you check units that survive the laser and you can see all of them has resistance which mean the resistance help most of the part (this is not the full explanation)
Lemme explain why some units survived There are such things as "effects" in this game, think of arson's fire or bugle's speed boost. Terminator also has one of these effects, and while it goes unnamed, I'll just call it "Vaporization" Resist, as the name implies, resists these effects, including Vaporization. Now let's take a unit that survived, for example, trebuchet has 200 base hp and an 80% resist, adding to a monstrous 1k effective hp at level 1. And terminator only deals 500 damage at base, therefore trebuchet survives. This applies too, notably soulfuse, bedridden and the soul of healing. So there are 2 criteria that need to be met for a unit to survive terminator 1. Have Resistance 2. Have over 500 base effective hp
