Puff you should definitely let me, a literal nobody in DBD, help with Dracula once he comes out. It'll be fun because neither of us knows what's happening
these videos are insanely helpful, i just started playing the game like a few weeks ago and being able to understand each killer in 30 or so minutes rather than hours of playtime is sooo helpful
Dude, watching this has made me realize, the only thing holding me back from being an insane pyramid head, is general killer stuff, and also knowing his range. I knew almost all the tips FiuyrEH said. I feel proud of that fact.
Game 1 is the perfect embodyment of what it's like trying to learn killer. No meta perks and trying to get good with your power while you have a sweaty team on comms literally throwing themselves at gens to finish them and be altruistic while your stealth don't do shit because they are on said comms xD
Puff even though you have a 75Hz monitor there is noticeable benefit to going higher to at least like 90. It’s all about frame consistency. Linus Tech Tips did a super good video about it. If you don’t want to look the video up I will TLDR it; your GPU will only render as many frames as you ask it to in the program, but it doesn’t take the same amount of time to render every single frame, it’s always a variance, depending on what’s going on (ability usage, falling, perks, etc) it can take a lot longer to load additional frames making your game seem choppy at times especially in the heat of the moment. Telling your GPU to render 90+ while only displaying 70 ensures that you get far closer to “real” timings on each frame
Unless you don't enjoy sitting next to a barn fan and playing. I tend to limit my FPS so that my GPU remains relatively quiet. The CPU is water cooled, so it's always rather quiet. But pushing 600 FPS on the GPU induces a lot of heat , leading to fan noise. Not to mention coil whine on certain GPUs. Not worth it, imo. I'm not playing in freaking tournaments.
@@TheOnlyToblin sounds like you need to clean your pc. No way should a game as light as DBD cause your GPU to go above 60% utility. Clean the dust out you’ll see much better performance. P.S. love the name though, a fellow TheOnly :P
@@TheOnlyToblin nobody is asking for 600 FPS and it’s not even possible without file edits. Max you can do normally on dbd is 120, which will have minor if any impact on GPU performance. When you’re only getting 75 FPS going up to 90 is almost a 20% increase in available frames despite only rendering 15 more images in a second.
@@ItsFactor Yeah, for DbD you're stuck at 120 FPS max, because that's what the engine allows. But I was talking more generalized. I've seen people claim that 600+ FPS is required to play something like Counterstrike, and it kinda makes me doubt the sanity of people. Sure, input lag is a thing, and having the computer render faster is nice, but also, I've let some games run wild (System Shock Remake, for one) and if I let that have all the frames it wants, my GPU sounds like an airplane taking off. (The Merc 319 6950 XT has one hell of a cooler on it) But yeah, you're correct. For DbD, I just run at 120. Mostly because I can. I run it at 120 on ultra and my computer doesn't break a sweat. I also don't generally do super niche tricks, so matching FPS to a certain number to achieve a flick isn't really something I'm doing. Maybe I will when my MMR isn't potato. But for now? Hell no :P
@@TheOnlyToblin Ohhhh I thought you meant for dbd my bad! And yeah 600 is ridiculous, the diminishing returns when you get above 200 are astronomical. There’s really very little reason to go higher if any
I had bought pyramid head recently and really wanted to learn how to play him, this video was really helpful, I appreciate your content really really much, keep going😊
Please do Knight sometimes soon! Such a unique killer. Would love to see you approach it with the new changes and speak to a high level Knight player about how to play since those changes.
Well, the first two games are essentially my every PH game. I cannot land that goddamn carpet no matter what. If I lead, the double back. If I backshot, they keep running. If I do either, they stop. I just cannot hit shit with it. The only time I land it I'd when they're animation locked, and even then it's a tossup.
32:47 YOO ITS ME IN CHAT i didn't even realise he was recording adept when he did this (WHEN IS BLIGHT PUFFALOPE?!?!?!? i wanna learn more i mean im KINDAAA good at blight already but PLS WHENS BLIGHT)
75hz monitor man, u gotta upgrade. After getting 240hz(had 144hz before) i could not believe my eyes and i literally cannot even stand 144hz anymore, it feels sluggish and looks terrible
@@skeletonwitch. If u have never owned 75/120/144/240 then 60hz is fine but trust me after changing to anything higher, its life changing and feels amazing
