@fighting torque with Sleaford recovery. All the years that you have been in the recovery industry. What cars do you think are not worth buying cause lot of breakdowns. and do you get a lot of breakdown specialist electric vehicles? Can you please make a video on this subjects

Great video bud. When I had my spec I had 2 clamps made that went underneath the spec carrier where the vehicle wheel gets lifted by and it had a ratchet strap welded to each end so the strap went over the wheel. Any size wheel as long as the strap was long enough. Saved me loads of time expecially when it's pissing down. But some joker nicked my first set but had better made ones next time around. Made them out of aluminium tube second time. And kept them locked in my cab. Lesson learnt ❤

Frankie is a complete weapon. Is there nothing you can't do with it(apart from getting it grounded😂😂😂). Won't be long before you have recouped your investment in him👍

I'm not so sure. It has lockable 4wd diffs, and it's not really for full off roading. The back axle is like an HGV tag axle, just for weight distribution really

@@Fighting_Torque oh, but seeing you get stuck on the concrete of that garage some improvements definitely needs to be done. Where there's a will there's a way, no? Perhaps some more articulation of the rear axles? Or make it so you can lift the rear axle? Like a truck's tag axle? 🤔😊

Hi Ben, as a recovery operator and a motor vehicle engineer for almost 30 yrs i dont quite understand why you did a rear end lift when you could have done a front end lift as easily being a front wheel drive turning all the drive shafts and gearbox and diff internals

Hi mate, as you'll know it's a sealed diff and box. Any movement is absolutely no different to if it was freewheeling down the road being driven. It causes absolutely zero wear on moder boxes that are sealed. It's very different for HGV work which is why you'd remove the half shafts so the diffs don't overheat or cause friction. So, in short, a sealed moder diff/box is perfectly safe to tow and remains fully lubricated in the same way as if it was being driven.

Also, the front of the A5 would have been over rear axle weight for the spec, not to mention it was significantly lower. Therefore possible damage loading. Overhang is more on the front too on the A5. It's a no brainer to rear lift an A5 unless I was on a carriageway, and then I would have front lifted it to a place of safety

Mate that thing looks so good on camera. Going to need a tyre sponsor or your diffs sorting out. Can't be doing it any good. Hope you had a great time at the show. Next time we do a sticker run, I'll send you some more if want for rest of the fleet. Keep em coming mate. 👊😘

@@Fighting_Torque I get so many people saying BMWs are unreliable I deliver tyres and I’m up and down the motorway everyday and I see my Audi Mercedes vw ect broken down do you recover many BMWs
