In the USA to play basketball for Russia, the Russian team on a train started yelling "Siberia, Siberia", they were passing through Wyoming. True story.

The most relatable part of the story for anyone in army or marines was when “woodeye” made the platoon stand in the feeezing cold for an hour in formation…hurry up and wait lol

The Russians were rather people with the mindset of the medieval ages. They torture and savagery was normal and is still normal when you see their acts in Ukraine.

Nemmersdorf was a German enclave in, what is now, Russia. The Russian people had been the subject to brutal atrocities by the German army, retaliation was on their minds.
