I got the tonemaster bc our stage noise was too much. I got the Tonemaster Pro last year. It does everything. I have since sold my pedals and my AC30. I love the updates and the tones from the amps on it.

lol I’m the normal guitar player Im new to worship music when I played gigs with my old alternative rock band I was using a Mesa boogie duel rectifier traditional 412 cab a wah and two guitars that’s was it I wanted to spend more time playing then fiddling around with knobs. But when I got into worship I realized right away the keep it simple philosophy was out the door lol I have not played the new Fender unit but what is appealing to me is it’s layout it seems simple to diel things in and start jamming or creating music. I have very little patience tweaking things. But if I have to I will but I really don’t want to lol. But I will say I do enjoy the atmospheric tones worship guitar players get . And I have a feeling the fender unit might be my cup of tea. Awesome video as always keep up the great work.

If you max out can you add external pedals in the FX loop and include them in your preset? I have a Strymon Big Sky. Can any reverb on the Fender Tone Master Pro do what it does? The Big Sky can do alot for ambient sounds and all other reverbs.

btw... @3:00 and again at @6:00 you ask if you can add more effects, but you were looking at the amp list, not the Effects list. If you had selected Effects from the left column, you'd see that you can indeed add a LOT more effects to that preset.

TMP owner here. I am not certain but you could be limited due to having one or both amps using convolution reverb. If you use amp heads (no convolution reverb) them you could probably add a substantial amount of other effects. Worth a try anyway...

I really want to try one of these looking to move up from pod go how does it do big ambient swells ? I use my pod go with your patches and use snapshots can you set up separate switches like snapshots and reassign them in a Sunday morning usable fashion like you do with the helix and pos go

I love this title. Can it p&w?? I’ve seen so many can I chug vids out there. This cracks me up. I would love to see some different guitars (Ibanez , that new evh sa-126, etc..) to see if they can p&w. What do you think???

Curious as to why the delay and reverb are before the amp instead of after or separated in dual signal path. I have mine that way and just curious about the logic. Have to do with DSP? Or?

We like the sound of stereo reverbs and delays hitting the front of stereo amps. It's quite a bit different than placing wet effects after the amplifier. One is not better than the other, necessarily - just depends what you like the sound of. Digital amp models/captures are notoriously bad at re-creating this tone in the same way a real amp does, though. We've found digital stuff can sound identical to the real thing on it's own, but it is a different story once you start hitting them with tons of effects.

Are you using the full combo amp with tremolo and reverb? If you are, switch to the combo “amp only” and you’ll regain a lot of DSP.

We were (for the Deluxe). But I have tested this out (using some of our IR’s for cabs). And yes, it does free up some DSP, but it wasn’t enough to make a meaning difference in my opinion.

I think that the only advantage that this unit has over other modelers is the seamless preset switching which is cool, but you have to rethink the entire way you set up a patch or patches for that matter. IMO if you want to build traditional style patches then this unit offers no advantage over the likes of Helix, Cortex, etc… but if you willing or interesting in creating different presets to seamlessly switch between, this unit could be interesting and work well within that workflow

So speaking of preset switching... Fractal recently introduced gapless preset switching in an Axe-FX III firmware update, and I have played live with Axe-FX since that came out. Since I build out song presets individually (so I don't need to switch presets within a song), I sort of assumed that gapless preset switching wouldn't really big a big deal within my workflow, but I had to say, it made a pretty meaningful difference, and gave me more confidence in the ability to go back and forth between different patches without even thinking about my trails getting cut off, etc. It was a bigger deal than I anticipated.

@younkinjames8571 gapless preset switching? If it’s not a feature that already exists, my rule of thumb is to not expect it to ever happen, even if it’s something that is promised. Neural has promised a lot of features for QC that still aren’t available, even years later. So I’d say probably no.

Ha I scrolled through literally every section - all gray’d out. But there was admittedly a lot in that dual amp preset.

@@worshiptutorials No, you didn't scroll through every section, you scrolled through the combos & half-stack amps. If you had selected Effects from the left you'd see many more effects were able to be added.

@@JStillwell-wm3ln Hey Jason. I actually did scroll through the entire fx list (it just didn’t show up in the video, which was an oversight). They were all grey’d out. Kind of surprisingly, honestly. I thoroughly tested that because I couldn’t really believe it. One thing that would make a difference is using just the amp heads and an IR. This removes the reverb and trem from the Deluxe amp block and frees up some DSP allowing a few more FX. I have a separate preset made where I’ve tested that. Anyway, thanks for watching

So I didn’t realized I had removed a reverb. Although there is at least one more verb in it. That’s what I was thinking of in the P&W video. I guess I had removed that hall verb.

The helix stuff gotten better with it. They like cut in half all the amps and effects cost of DSP down. So you can add a lot in Helix or Native.

Use amp heads with no built in reverb , your not using them anyway and will free up more Dsp👍

Dual amps are definitely overrated IMO. Every church I've ever played with runs mono anyways (unfortunately) and just creates more phase issues. TMP sounds great at church and way easier to tweak on the fly than most.

I run dual amps. I love an AC30 but it's missing something, so I pair it with a Fender Delux. But I'm doing it digitally, so I don't really have any phase issues.
