If you talk about QBs, Aaron Rodgers, Brett Farve adapted to the cold. Tom Brady played in the cold for so long in New England. Caleb will be fine.

As to Stephen A. Smith's point about adjusting to Chicago weather for Caleb, I looked up how long it takes to acclimatize to altitude in order undertake a climb to the top of Mount Everest. About two months? I think Caleb will be just fine in Chicago. But probably not to the top of Everest this year.

The issue with Caleb in Chicago is when December rolls around, more things change than the wind. Field goal range is reduced by at least 5 yards as cold air in the ball condenses taking energy out of the ball. The ball is more difficult to grip. Both passes and kicks are affected by the swirling winds which pick up in the winter. This reduces range for passes and the types of throws that can be made. Finally, while they finally figured out the turf at Soldier Field, it's still rock hard and lumpy making it difficult to get good footing. That throws off timing of receivers for pass plays down field. Cold lumpy fields are more difficult to jump, cut, and get any kind of speed. Playing in December is very different from playing in September. That's why running the football is so important. it's invariant to these problems.

Steven A made the most amount of sense, like usually I never agree with the guy, but he completely gets it. Everyone is old and hurt on this team. The Jets have a bunch of promising young rooks and third years that are going to want OUT if everyone gets hurt again. The cold hard facts are the strength and conditioning of the jets has been poor. NYJ need to secure a 2nd rd pick by trading back. But they still need an OT in the first round. We need a DT because our main weakness on defense was the run up the middle. We also need an OG to back up both AVT and Simpson. Lastly we need a WR that can play right away to back up Mike Wallace. I would like to have those 4 positions filled by draft talent in the first 3 rounds. So even if Joe Douglas has to give up next years draft picks from 2nd round to 7th round to move up and down the first 3 rds of this draft to tak3 STUDS at those positions.
