The annoying thing with HOI4 is that after a specific point, large alliances are detrimental, as they overload the supply massively and then cant move of the frontlines and thus end in pathetic encirclements, also, a thing the AI does it constantly shift Units around to the point where the dont see any fighting until theyre stuck in low supply, barely any organization as they just arrived and then die.
@@mekingtiger9095 thats also rly flawed tho, because then its about 40% entirely reliant on the skill and competence of the players, something you cant really measure at all
@@kiyoraka3537 I know... But would be a very cool gameplay experience on paper nonetheless. It's just something that's on the top of my head these past few weeks.
@@walteryt2817 would be much lol, by then a whole ton of defensive positions are already set up and ready to be used in the event of a foreign attack, and also armies are way more built up (e.g. USSR being done with the great purge, germany not being behind with less mobilization, france recovering from complacent and outdated army, etc)
US takes control of canada: eyes boggling US takes control of south america: Jaw drop in awe US takes control of Vietnam and china: goes out of control with euphoria US takes control of the USSR and the middle east: Faints with a patriotic sobbered crotch
If you went back in time and showed a Polish farmer an A-10 or an Osprey they would cease to function Edit: How the fuck did the replies instantly dwelve into realistic US tactics, I was literally just making a meme 💀💀the HOI4 community in a nutshell, everyone!
Yeah I feel like the US took way too many casualties in this simulation based on the simple fact that we really don't have to have much CQC, imagine an a10 doing a gun run on a trench...I mean...holy fuck, propeller flown aircraft would be pretty hopelessly outmatched maybe scoring a few kills here and there and what little amount of jet powered aircraft there were would probably suffer as well
@@DJC_2003 Plot twist: despite having the technology of the 2000s, America used 1940s technology to 1. Prove they can win anyway 2. Due to cheaper production
@@moneymaykerhustler I don't know how the video creator set up this scenario. I'm not sure he used actual 2022 weaponry for the US here, because actual American 2022 weaponry would demoralize and destroy 1944 troops so fast the war would be over in months at most.
@@furiousinfosecgames2189 I think even modern Poland can defeat the entire world in WW2, not to mention modern United States. I think even 1950 USA could beat the entire world in WW2.
@@1mol831 yeah, I think these sims underestimate how fast the US produced during war time, some of the factories had 24 hour shift systems in play. So before the end of the war they were approaching double the output in a lot of factories.
@@honeysauce5244 I feel like the US is at the same point we where at right after Vietnam, in a growing phase. The military that fought in Iraq and Kuwait in ‘91 was the end result of lessons learned from Vietnam with added new tech. Really hope Afghanistan taught us like Vietnam did so we get better from it
Not even close the rest of the world would now be able to rain missiles on the US mainland everyday and make it hell for them plus US forces would be stretched thin they would be outmanned by a huge margin and outgunned best for US would be to fight a defensive war annex Canada Mexico and Cuba and then defend the mainland from Invasions
@@anasqader3851 exactly the USA can only do so much defensively. But out naval superiority and the fact we do have a hig solder pop plus anti-missle technology would mean it would end up being a stalemate
Boy am I glad the Philippines was on the side of the 2022 USA from the start and not against them like the rest of the world. On a serious note, I would have thought the 2022 USA would defeat the rest of the world in 1944 faster. Weapons that 1944 tech simply can't match, plus the US economy in 2022 is much larger than the entire world's in 1944.
Without the heroic sacrifice of those soldiers stationed on the Phillippines, the entire United States surely would've been overrun in a matter of days
That is true, but economy is meaningless. It is assumed by laymen to be an indicative of production capacity but it is not the case. Case in point, despite US economy nominally improving massively, its industry has been declining. From being the seat of 40% of global industrial capacity and manufacturing, nowadays USA barely represents 20%, if even that. Steel production has been slashed by 90%, automotive and other industries have been offshored and other issues of the sort. The military technology has improved, but in matters of real economics, USA has declined since WW2
@@IL_Phenomenom no they won’t. The technology of any modern superpower could overrun the world in 1939. Jets now can go Mach 2.2 whereas in 1939 they couldn’t even break the sound barrier. A shell from the most powerful 1939 tanks would bounce off an Abrams. Modern destroyers would use cruise missiles to sink massive battleships before they can see them. Not to mention nuclear weapons. The tech difference from 1939 to 2022 is far bigger than you think
@@IL_Phenomenom if the USA wanted to they could launch a ICBM at Europe and hit London, Paris, Berlin all at the same time with nothing to stop it since you can shoot don’t a icbm with a simple flak cannon
For those who don't know - the victory of a country under AI control is almost completely independent of industry, technology, etc. The country that has better army division templates will win. And these countries are: Germany, USA, UK, USSR and Japan. in 95% of cases Germany under AI control will win in any situation, even if it will be fragmented from the start of the game. Second, third place - USA and UK. Fourth place - USSR. Fifth place - Japan. No matter how terrible these countries are in, they will almost 100% win any game. If Afghanistan had better army templates from the start of the game, most games would end with his victory. So you can predict who will win a war in any given scenario just by seeing the composition of the countries involved.
I’m frankly more skeptical, even as an American. Britain and France were superpowers at the time and the USSR’s manpower would be a real challenge to beat.
No, i tried this same thing, but i put Soviet Union, Axis and UK only in us failed. They fell in 1937 while i started it in 1936. So this video is fake.

Nuclear Weapons: Night Vision: Jets that can go way above any luftwaffe plant and go at Mach 2: Abrams tanks: The US having 15% of the world population in this scenario:
better communications between ranks, longer attack range, combine arms to the extreme and let's not add the most improtant thing ever highly trained infantry that can complete a mission with a non NCO in conflict.
