Gregg Rosenthal is joined by Adam and Ryan of the Saints Block Part podcast for a deep dive on the Saints where they try and decide if Derek Carr and company have a real shot at the Super Bowl.
Great that you're giving each team some air time with the new show, rather than the same old Chiefs, Niners, Cowboys, NY stuff. Would love to see the Judd and Phil from Purple Daily do something similar. I know Greg checks in on their podcast for his Vikings info. Particularly if they beat the Texans on Sunday and arguably have a more impressive start than the Saints
Carr came to a new team with a dated offense and got beat up. Despite that, Carr finished strong, most TDs in last 5 games of season, beat the Bucs, put up 48 on the Falcons, and helped give the Saints a winning record despite Jameis losing two games. And these guys were calling for Rattler before the season starts? That’s crazy!! That’s just hate over facts.
Greg is wrong on the point of the saints selling out every year- our cap management and offseason moves have been moving towards a rebuild. Even Loomis said we are trying to get the cap to a more normal position
The Saints, Carr, DA and company are off to a great start. And your two guests look like they are about to vomit! Obvious lack of football knowledge and understanding what happened last year is showing. I'm not sure where all of their hate came from, but it's really, really obvious!
Derek car didn’t struggle with calling protections or reading the defense. It was just at the entire team sucked worst offensive line, bad defense, etc. etc. you chumps.
Listen, DC was a dog & handling much already. He was injured much of last year. Now it’s all Kubiaks doing…they took all the good QB stuff off his shoulder, he’s no Tom Brady…omg! ESPN homers!
It’s being brought up bc they’ve scored 91 points through 2 weeks which is the second most points in that span ever. The 09 Saints are the only team scored more (93) and they won the Super Bowl that year, and the other team that scored 91, the 71 Cowboys, also won the Super Bowl that year too
No team is as tight with its fans , as the Saints??!?! Have you heard of Bills Mafia?!?! If the Bills win the Superbowl, it will be BEYOND lit in that city for a very long time
