At 2:23 you can see the dog shaking. Although it could be from nervousness, I feel like the suspended position is a factor too. They need to find a way to balance safety with comfort.

I'm totally not okay with suspending pets for long time like that. They can however put the dog side-ways , standing on its all fours , then harnessing the dog comfortably.

I was just thinking the same thing. Especially if you’re a person who travels with your pets often or for long periods of time on a road trip it seems like this could get very uncomfortable after a while. It seems like there needs to be a more comfortable and better way to execute this idea. Although their intentions are good, I find that their product is extremely expensive. More than people are willing to spend on something like this, Furthermore, I just don’t see dogs being too comfortable for very long. I agree with the sharks these people need to execute their idea better, and perhaps in the future come up with a better prototype.

Passing crash safety tests is very difficult. For a four legged animal it doesn't seem you can get comfort and safety at least it's a huge challenge.

The point is that data is not collected. Mark means: extrapolate the incidence from known data, using certain assumptions.

Fear or not. You strap your kids in no matter if they like it or not cause you know they'll die if you crash and they're not secured. But I guess that no one cares about seeing their dog splattered in bits and pieces on the windshield. And ofc it's also fine that the kids see that picture. First of all, it’s not worth over a million now, they’ve made 3 million in lifetime revenue over 6 years. Which isn’t that much at all, that’s $500,000 in revenue per year. So after deducting expenses, it’s gonna be less. Split among all employees, that’s not really successful at all

That is really an unnatural and possibly painful position for a dog, it is also a hassle and time consuming for the dog owner to do this every time they got in and out of the car. It's not always a long-distance drive so what if the owner needed to make frequent stops? I can think of much simpler and practical designs that are equally safe if not safer.

My late dog was full of anxiety in the car. There is no way he would have been calm in this seat belt. I would like to see a street test with actual dog owners and see how the dog react to it. I guarantee it would be a struggle.

Yes, I agree you should have a veterinarian and the dog chiropractor look at your product that doesn’t look like it would be good for the dog at all they walk on fours their hips are being stretched in the spine. Not in a good position I don’t think maybe I for drives continually, maybe you can make something that. I applaud your work and effort, though.

How do they not have any kind of statistics on how many dogs die a year in car accidents i literally did a quick google search and it's all there, approximately 8-10k dogs die each year due to being in car accidents (without any kind of protection)

They obviously have no clue about the proved fact that those straps are even for humans lethal, uf they stuck for only a moment and at the same time you did pull up. The result :getting suffocated by bucling up a defect safty belt!
