Hola! World Friends 🌏! How many flags did you name?! 🇪🇸 Andrea www.instagram.... 🇲🇽 Andrea ... 🇦🇷 Loida / loidachoi 🇨🇴 Daniela / danykmpo 🎧Music incompetech.com... incompetech.com/
4:05 I can relate to Daniela. Similarly, I liked to study the countries, their flags and capitals from a very young age. And that's why I am now obsessed with country flags. I agree with Mexicandrea about a video guessing flags from other continents, and with Loida about guessing capitals. That'd be so fun! Very fun video!!!
Im Colombian and at school it was mandatory to learn all the flags and capital cities from America (CONTINENT). They also taught us at Geography the flags and cities from countries located in the other continents but they were not as mandatory as the American ones.
I was happy that they put "non-European" flags because they were very easy, Latin American flags are much more difficult , but still the flags from Africa are the hardest ever , loved the game ❤
Flags from Africa and from Oceania are the hardest except Australia 🇦🇺 and New Zealand 🇳🇿 , the hardest part between these two are just how similar they are 😂
@@luiz3459 - Did he, now? Why would they put european flags in a video about *SPANISH SPEAKING COUNTRIES?* He seems to think that the video was about guessing flags from all over the world.
Hope you had fun watching this video as much fun we had while filming it :) It was so nice seeing the Andreas again and also it was so fun to meet Daniela 😁😁
The "Costa Rica" one , omg 😂 and Andrea from Spain 🇪🇦 had been there , actuall6 it's not a hard flag to guess though , hard flags in America Continent are these : 🇦🇬🇧🇧🇧🇸🇩🇲🇰🇳🇱🇨
From a Costa Rican here, apology accepted 🥲🇨🇷 I was like... are we so small that not even fellow Latin Americans remember us? 😭🤣 Nah, I'm kidding! I love you, guys! It was so fun to watch you competing and saying it was personal 🤣🤣💓
I'm a nerd too & I remember this from school, learning all Spanish speaking countries Flags, Capitol cities... Costa Rican Flag is easy to remember, it's more unique & distinctive than others 👍
I had such an amazing time filming this video, it was lovely spending time with everyone (Loida and Andreasx2 ).... I am sorry saying only Colombia had 2 oceans I was thinking only of south America at the moment, and again sorry Costa Rica, also sorry Paraguay i said the other side had a bear it is a lion.... I hope I'll get to make more videos with world friends !!! :)
Finally Andrea of Spain showed signs that she’s human. She’s literally smart as seen in other videos that I would have never thought she wouldn’t a game like this. Love seeing Daniella btw. Welcome. I also didn’t know about Paraguay’s two sided flag, I guess I learned something new today.
It's sad that Central American countries (their flags included) always get forgotten or mistaken for a different one, by other Latin Americans. Also, the Sahrawi Republic, Equatorial Guinea and Morocco are Spanish speaking countries. Spanish is recognized in the Philippines but almost nobody speaks it anymore.
@@reaux3921 French, Moroccan Arabic, Berber languages and Spanish. Spanish is just spoken in a part of the country. Look it up if you don't believe me.
I think there is still few parts of the Philippines! but it is more south of the Phil a island in called Zamboanga, where they speak Creole Espanol and is most considerd Spanish. haha. and i heard theres a slight resurgence spreading more up north of the Philippines.
When are we gonna see these girls speak SPANISH ffs? I cant speak spanish, but seeing their personalites shine through utter confidence would be awesome, esp The two Andreas
@Victor M. Estévez Garcia @@@daureenchavarriadiaz4854 In South America, Chile also has a small part that is next to the Atlantic ocean. Yes, she did say later in the video Colombia was the only country, in South America, to have two oceans. The part of Chile that is next to Atlantic Ocean is in the Straits of Magellan, so could argue if it is actually next to the Atlantic Ocean. It is only 15 kilometres of land that might be able to say it is next to the Atlantic I think there was some confusion by the producer about Latin America and South America. Of course some countries in the video and other countries that do have the Pacific on one side & the Caribbean Sea on the other are on the North America continent. (I had to reply in English. I can read about half of what you all wrote but my writing in Spanish is very poor)
The benefits in living in U.S as a Latina is being able to make friends from all over the world especially mis hermanos Latinos y aprender de su culturas, comida y memorize by heart todas sus banderas.
I’m actually quite surprised they couldn’t guess Ecuador, quite popular south American country! I knew the flag was Ecuador even though i live in Europe…
Argentina's flag is not because of the sky, it is because the excuse to make the 1810 revolution was the loyalty to Fernando VII who was in prison under Napoleon. And the flag is the copy of the colours of the Borbones' house. Of course, that was just an excuse and when Napoleon was sent out of Spain, the independence war went on.
The collors' meaning of the Spainsh flag Andrea make about blood and gold make no sense, is just the old flag of the navy, it was chosen just for identification porpuses
@@adri_makeup Exactly! But hey people at least remember about our countries exist, feel even worse if you mention where are you from and no one know about the existence of the country.
What a fun group of ladies! In fairness, the woman from Spain might be more likely to know the flags of other European countries, since Spain is a member of the EU, and she likely has traveled to a lot of those countries.
@@Jade-xw2ur Are you talking about U.S.? Cause in Europe we learn about geography, I'm from Spain and I'm very good with flags, capitals around the world but not everyone is good in the same thing xDD I gueess all the flags, just I was confuse with the Honduras flag.
No the USA, Canada, Panama, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Honduras, Guatemala, Mexico, and Russia, have coastlines on both the Pacific and Atlantic. However, if you also include country territories, then both the UK and France would have both coastlines on the Pacific and Atlantic. France has 3 inhabited territories and 1 uninhabited territory in the Pacific and the UK, has 1 inhabited territory in the Pacific. That said, Colombia, is the only country in South America that has coastlines on both the Pacific and Atlantic.
If by "inhabited territory" re UK you meant Commonwealth Countries it's more than 1 that has two oceans along it's land, in the Oceanic/Pacific Region. (However, bringing Pacific islands into it is not relevant to the video as it was only re Spanish speaking countries!)
Yes, she made that mistake but later corrected. However, the color blue in Colombian flag is for the sky and waters in general, not the fact that it has shores in both oceans and not about being the only one in South America
I’m pretty sure that the only way to beat the Colombian girl guessing Spanish Speaking countries flags is by putting there the flag of Equatorial Guinea! 😅
Fun fact the central American flags are made in honor to the Argentine flag. During the Independence wars Argentine corsairs sailed the world attacking Spanish ships, ports and aiding local revolutions. When Captain Bouchard reached the southern part of the Spanish Viceroyalty of New Spain (currently México, half of the US and Central America), they attacked the Spanish forts and landed forces which encouraged locals to size power taking advantage of Spain's weakness since the fleet and forces were recalled for the Liberation War against the French invasion in Spain. The southern part of the viceroyalty broke away as the United Provinces of Central America, taking their name and flag from the United Provinces of Rio de la Plata (actually also official name of Argentina today and still used in coins as Provincias Unidas moto). The country didn't last much. Local elites in each city started to fight each other for power and broke in the current small countries in central America.
He even took Monterrey fort for 5 days and claimed held California as Argentine territory for the time. Reason why California has the Argentine flag in display as one of the country that held it, along Spain, Mexico and the US.
@@Argentvs don't forget Uruguay was part of the Rio de la planta which after independence from Spain in 1811 the Portuguese invaded it and took it from us luckily we got it back
Yes and the SUN in the center of our flag is the SOL de MAYO! Which the Uruguayan flag was inspired by it and also they have it on their flag! Plaza de Mayo is the park right in front of the Casa Rosada...! Argentina's White House only it's pink! I'm an Argie!👍
The sun in Argentina Uruguay is the sun of May and doesnt represent the sky it's represent the God of Inca empire and Perú nation as representation of the spanish empire in South America, capital, and father of South America. Peru doesn't use it as it no has representation in independence wasn't wanted, required, and was refused by Peruvians at that time. And the yellow in flags of the south America countries doesn't gold because those provinces didn't have gold to start with so means anything else but gold, also Mexicans in majority doesn't know about other hispanic flag of countries cuz they only care about themselves while in south America are taught about every country in America as we are "brothers"
This one is definitely for me being a Puerto Rican lol. 2:29 I wouldn't get those right, because they're really similar: Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, etc. 4:22 That's adorable haha
4:52 Noooo, me siento avergonzado que ella dijo PR 😂🤦🏻♂️ And Andrea (Mex) said it too, no puede seeer. More so when the Puerto Rican and Cuban flag are almost identical. 6:59 Did I predict the future?? 😂😂
😳 Mantenme
The bottom half of Colombian flag, the blue and red pays homage to the Country of Haiti (as is the same with Venezuela and Ecuador which was all once known as Gran Colombia). After the many failed attempts for Simon Bolivar to revolt and overthrow the Spanish, Simon Bolivar went to Haiti to ask for ammunition, rifles, and strategic plans. Alexandre Petion, the president of Haiti at the time even gave Bolivar high ranking military officers from Haiti to help overthrow the Spanish. Petion's only request was for Bolivar to grant the black people of Gran Colombia freedom from slavery. The first flag of Gran Colombia was not raised until March 12th 1806, in Jacmel, Haiti. Respect to our Haitian brothers and sisters out there.
there are hundreds of millions of black Latinos but these videos always manages to leave them and they make sure to get the white and browns ones LMAO!!!!!!!
Hahaha. The Spanish flag has nothing simbolic in it (except for the coat of arms, of course). The design was the winner in a contest called in Charles the 3rd times in order to substitute the former one, wich whas white and was confounded with other foreing flags in the ships. This Andrea girl just makes up an imaginative narrative about the colors.
The colours on the Spanish flag have no meaning at all, they were simply chosen to distinguish Spanish boats easily. The coat of arms though has a lot of historical meaning
I'm from Brazil and I can proudly say that I can name almost all country flags haha even the small ones, in english and portuguese and their locations and which language is spoken there. Ps: They said that Costa Rica is in South america, but it ins't, its in Central america haha Ps again: No, we don't speak spanish in Brazil, we speak portuguese, we understand spanish, but avoid speaking spanish with us to avoid bad experiences, ask first.
@@intrametaarchi1015 Year, I don't think anyone will be offended by English, so yes, I'll give you a hint, if you speak one or two words in Portuguese people will be very happy haha

@@corymiller536 They are latinos too as we are in the latin america spanish speaking countries. We share almost the same culture , food and have close history.
the spanish flag has no meaning, the colours were chosen because they were easy to see in the sea so they will know whcih boat is from Spain and which one not
