Actually, from what Toriyama stated during an interview in regards to Gohan’s Beast form, he stated that it is currently the strongest form with the best potential at this time. The reason why Beast Gohan could be defeated by these characters is due to the fact that Toriyama started that if Cell Max gained his Perfect Form, not even Broly could defeat him and it’s certainly unknown if Gohan or Piccolo even know about the events of the Granolah Saga to actually scale anyone there correctly. As for Piccolo being stated to be rivaling Goku & Vegeta, Goku & Vegeta themselves have been considered rivals for years even when one was not equal to the other in terms of raw power, so it could just mean that Piccolo has managed to gain enough power to challenge them to some degree. As for Gohan being stated to be the strongest, it simply states that Gohan is certainly the strongest fighter on earth since there’s no one like Goku, Vegeta, Broly or Frieza on earth during this time.

Wether it’s “could” or “would”, Toriyama compared a hypothetical Perfect Cell Max to certain Broly (who still hasn’t mastered or gained control over his power) and of course, that would lead back comparisons between Beast Gohan & Orange Piccolo to Broly when it comes down to scaling them. If Broly at his best is absolutely nothing to Beast Gohan, why would Toriyama himself make this comparison?

Based on interviews and Super Hero promo, Final Gohan would be the strongest as of right now, only one that's debatably stronger than him is Black Freeza since we don't know how strong he is as of right now (concept wise at least because majority of this community literally forgot that the DBS Anime >>>>>>>> DBS Manga in terms of power).
Alright TRUST ME ON THIS. JUST TRUST. LMAO... So it took Gogeta Blue to take out Broly and it wasn't close by any means. If I remember correctly UI Goku is around Blue fusion level, so if the creator stated that Gohan Beast was the strongest then that would mean stronger than UI Goku AND Ultra Ego Vegeta. I think Granolah probably has a good chance at going toe to toe with Gohan but I'm not sure if he'd be able to beat him. Ultra Ego Vegeta hasn't really perfected his form so I think taking on Beast Gohan he'd lose just like with Granolah. Black Frieza did knockout both UI and UE so he probably has the best chance at beating Gohan. But again like I said the creator stated Beast Form to be the strongest so does this include Black Frieza? I mean even Whis at the end of the last arc hinted that the strongest warrior in the universe was elsewhere not Black Frieza. Could he be talking about Beast Gohan? Idk but even in the movie, they say that even if Goku and Vegeta were there they wouldn't have won BUT at that point in time they knew their options if Goku and Vegeta WERE there, which would be Gogeta/Vegito Blue, or UI Goku to take on Cell Max and even with THAT they would think they'd lose?? Because he shouldn't be this strong. This power up is undeserved. He didn't train at all for it, and don't compare it to the cell games. When android 16 got destroyed, he *couldn't* be resurrected because he was a machine and didn't have a soul. In this case, he just thought that piccolo died and then pulled out this form. I did some scaling for the movie to see how strong is Gohan and the power scaling side of things (I'm definitely not a power scaler this is just information that I've collected) So in the movie, piccolo states that gamma one and gamma to are so strong that he doesn't think that Goku or Vegeta can beat them and their current forms. And at the time of the movie it was not Canon to the manga. Now it is, but at the time Goku and Vegeta's strongest form would be super Saiyan blue The reason why I bring this up is because cell Max was far stronger than Gamma 1 and gamma 2 , this is packed up by the fact that when gamma 2 used an ultimate move on cell max on his weak spot and cell Max got up and continue to fight. That means that cell max has stronger durability or is just flat out stronger than that same super Saiyan blue level threat. When piccolo asked shenron two unleash his full potential he became orange piccolo. But when gamma 2 a super Saiyan blue level threat came in and tried to punch piccolo piccolo did not even flinch and then when he tried to hit him with consecutive punches buffalo again did not flinch but then proceeded to one shot him. This means that in his fight with cell Max who is able to make piccolo bleed and easily beat him (I only say beat because we all know that if Gohan and the others weren't there that he would have died) That cell Max was stronger than a super Saiyan blue level threat. And in an interview toriyama specifically stated that If cell Max was completed then he would be stronger than broly, in fact, he specifically said that " If cell Max was completed then broly cannot defeat him" and to keep in mind he does not say broly could possibly defeat him or would have a hard time. He says that he cannot. The reason why I bring all this up is because if you think about it when Gohan transforms into his new form he easily one shots cell Max, And yes, I know that's so Max was already weakened from gamma 2's attack and I also know that Gohan use the special move, but that doesn't take away from the fact that he still killed them with one shot now if he was able to do that to cell Max that easily then think about what he would do to broly.
Granolah made himself the strongest in the universe true. Super hero movie happens 3 years after most recent manga chapter. Following that statement Granolah cannot beat Gohan because his power is at least that of Granolah + 3 years
The movie doesn’t happen after granolah arc the manga and anime are 2 separate timelines and manga counterparts are stronger anime wise it’s stated jiren was as strong as belmod but manga wise moro was stated to surpass every GoD except beerus and goku alone is stronger than moro

None off these are close fights except for Goku vs Gohan, only because it’s confirmed that Tui can combine other forms with it, but Goku can probably go up SSJ3. Hypothetically speaking that would be stronger but I doubt Goku can keep it for very long time, since he has way more energy now he can probably keep it 15 minutes or less.

Piccolo or gohan haven't seen ultra ego vageta or gokus stronger version of u.i from the granola arc.

It's an introduction of a completely new character (with an established super crazy potential), and at least it had someone die. Gohan's established potential was never that ridiculous. Even then, that full power Broly would get destroyed by the Gohan that got just a bit angry. False, it was stated that piccolo could own fight alongside goku and Vegeta and not be left behind which only counts for the anime as the manga is confirmed to be adapting its own version so toriyamas statement for the movie doesn’t correlate to the manga

i guess the statement given by toriyama regarding gohan' having the strongest form means that this form is giving him most multiplier as compared to all the other forms shown in dbs. as an example:- let us take goku's base power is 5 million and when he goes to TUI his power get multiplied by 80k (it's only a example cuz there isn't a estimate number) and then there is gohan whose base power is around 3.8 million and when is goes into ultimate beast mode then his power gets multiplied by 100k (once again just a estimate figure). just my guess don't try to give me hate 😊

I hate how gohan got a power that litteraly beats god powers and techniques of the angels and all he had to do was get a little mad. He didn't lose anything like goku did for super saiyan losing krillin because piccolo was perfectly fine and vegeta losing his will over and over again and eventually just giving up on ultra instinct. All these forms had proper reasons to happen meanwhile gohan over here who has barely been training mainly studying gets the power beyond gods at a moments notice

Reasons Gohan would lose to these characters: Despite potential, it is formidable, yes, greater than our protagonists. However, using that potential comes to a waist when he doesn't train it. When Beast is commencing, it's a snap out of anger rather than a trained transformation, plus Gohan, in general, is weaker than he was in the Moro arc. Like I said, didn't train the last time we saw him, which was 3 and a half years ago in the Moro arc. If he did train, Gohan would possibly take on both Gammas, and Beast would be much more formidable than in the movie. Unlike Black Frieza, he's apparently the strongest one here, unknown mastered power and form one shot two divine forms, one exceeding power from a mastered one and the containing powers of a destroyer, something Beerus couldn’t do with ease. It took the cat a couple of shots to take down SSBE Vegeta, it took Frieza one on a new form, in comparison and contrast, is to Beast having a good kick on Cell Max and he still didn't go down, and Goku and Vegeta are surely stronger than Cell Max currently and Frieza just had to touch the guts and they went down. Overall, I don't take Toriyama's word for it anymore, and I won't have my mind changed by Gohan fanboys, I'm not saying y'all are wrong, but looking at this logically makes sense.
