Things hit and sometimes they don’t, some (people) can have a strong emotional resilience, some can watch animes without getting their personal emotions involved, some have different triggers (what makes one person sad in this scene doesn’t mean others will also feel that way),and of course sometimes it depends on your current mood and context, there are more to this, everyone is different after all.

I felt like crying after seeing ace, but after I saw it myself, never again can I cry for whatever, not even if rl Events happen. I lost my best friend yesterday and i did not sheda tear, thanks to ace and many other sad anime events
