Jisoo's verses are ironic. The verse 'I can stop the tears if I want to', is very true. She is the strongest out of all the members. she never cries in front of camera's. except for when she is in kdrama's, it was my first seeing her cry and she was acting.

This song hits so many levels for each singer: Jisoo, from her normal deeper sound to this incredible, heart piercing falsetto .. epic Lisa, she can’t sing .. now those who say that can STFU .. her best vocals yet Jennie, my how I feel people don’t get her. She is exactly what BP needs, at every moment. Jisoo went full falsetto, Jennie followed with a deep and low voice next chorus .. then she matches Rose’s higher ascending ending in the last verse .. y’all sleep on her (main rapper) versatility .. she fits with all members. Rose, as expected on a vocal song, she comes in and cleans up with the ascending chorus at the end, made for her. So, yeah, I kinda like blackpink and this song. Jisoo voice actually is so special and singing skill is very amazing and is underrated due to YG always give her less part to show it! This album Jisoo is totally slayed and own it! We need Jisoo Solo ❤️

omg same, great reaction! It has been almost a month since this song dropped and still with the goosebumps even when The Happiest Girl is coming from a reaction video. The Pinks individual voices are amazing but combined in a heart wrenching song, boom goosebumps! The harmonies in this song, wow! Just goes to show how unique Blackpink voices are. I mean logically, their voices are so unique to each member and it should not sound so fantastic together but it does. I heard harmonies done before in groups but theirs is the best so far. A beautiful song, written well, arranged like magic, and the Pinks put their soul into singing this. I hope they have a video of this when they recorded The Happiest Girl, a video of them in the studio, wearing casual clothes, in front of that recording mic together singing this song.
