More than 26k rental properties listed on Ireland's biggest property site in 2010. Just over 1600 in December 2023, many of those listed as email inquiries only. I have a video where I browse the web for accommodation in 2010 vs 2023

Two months on I think we can agree the answer is no. The budget made it worse. We desperately need the so called "far right" in government.

It amazes me to think people suggest social housing is the answer.. ITS NOT, building your own home needs to be more affordable, I don’t mean in regards to income but the cost of building itself. What’s the point in social housing when you don’t own it? Your kids will be in the same boat after you die, homeless. If the cost of building was cheap enough families would have a home for generations
