I know exactly what you mean, I cried for her winning, spent the whole video having the exact same anxiety as Sarah too! I did a contest on my birthday last year (10th September) first time, made an Albedo from Overlord costume, I panicked so much waiting in the line for my turn, had a technically difficulty with the clip not clipping by the time I went on stage, knew my performance compared to others was rubbish, but for my first competition I got 3rd place, sadly being a little UK cosplay con only 1st place got a prize, but I felt so happy to have gotten 3rd on my first try I'm now working on the new Alexstrasza design from World of Warcraft hoping to do another UK convention competition in June, and I'm having the exact same anxieties of it won't be perfect or good enough even though I only started cosplay in 2019

Didn’t realize how invested i was in this competition after watching all the lead up videos until I was literally panting before you were announced as winner and shaking once you were.
I love you practicing color guard techniques to twirl this fork. I don't know if you actually looked up guard techniques or just did what made sense but it's so reminiscent of the techniques we're taught that it's rly exciting to see you do. And if you didn't look up guard techniques but find yourself twirling a staff or flag again, I highly recommend you look up some techniques, they're really fun and will probably help you get the visual down better.
Okay but other than the AMAZING PART where you WON!!!!!! the Zagreus and Nyx cosplays were lowkey my favourite parts!!! YOU DID AMAZING!!!!! i loved every moment, and boop the pig's nose again for happyness!

I've always loved cosplay and wanted to start cosplaying but I was always scared because of what people would think of me if they didn't like it so I always only watched cosplay content, but then I found your videos and you show how you struggle sometimes with your cosplays and get frustrated. Still, you never fail to amaze me with your finished products. You have shown me that cosplaying is not all about showing your skills and passions to people, but also about making these things for yourself purely because you like it and you want to do it. I cant express how much I love your content and how much you have helped me through your channel. You've taught me so many things and it always makes me sort of emotional watching your videos because you really are paving the way for so many people to do what they love more than anything. I really appreciate your motion graphics and visual and audible My biggest dream now is to become a big cosplayer that inspires others to do what they love like you do, and am currently working towards that dream. When I was a kid, I did really amateur cosplay with friends by simply picking out outfits from our closets that best matched our characters and doing small skits recorded on our friend's home recorder. I always wanted to do professional cosplay when I got older, but my life changed and my money went into other hobbies I got into - mainly my small kpop collection and crafting models. Despite my passions changing, I'll always respect cosplayers and their dedication to their craft. Hoping one day I can get the confidence to go to a convention and even once just cosplay to fulfill the dream of the girl who stood so excitedly in front of a small camera with her friends.
