Notion is an app I've tried and tried and never ever loved, even when I've purchased templates. On the other hand, I have been using Capacities for almost a year and it's the best app ever. It works just the way I need it to - and the queries and AI have been fantastic features I never knew I needed.

You left out some really fun features like you can send messages or pictures through WhatsApp, telegram or e-mail to your capacities. I'm not sure if that one is one the free though as I were and am a believer. Got a cool badge of being an early believer too. 🤣 You can create a page or object within another page /object that it is link to each other right away, it's similar to obsidian too. Each object is a database in it of themselves. Therefore you got a database for your pages, pictures, we links and any other object you create. You can use an object type multiple time with different properties and layouts. View the settings as Templates rather then settings. You can also create multiple spaces like vaults with obsidian. You can also link your to do app with capacities and send your to dos there, that way you have all your to dos in one place. If Notion and obsidian had a child it would be capacities.

Hi! Thank you so much for watching the video and for sharing your thoughts on it! It's great to hear from someone with lots of experience with Capacities 😊 It is definitely like a combination of notion and obsidian. We didn't know that you can send messages through WhatsApp telegram and email, that seems like an awesome feature!

@@theorganizednotebook You could do a part two about those features. There are probably more that even I didn't mention. They just updated their design to make entries within the calendar view easier, within the app. The app is nice to have too.

That’s a great point! We will explore capacities further in a future video 😊

Really nice Video! Some additions: you can embed links in a page, pin that page to the sidebar and then also have some kind of folder structure. And it is possible to create new properties out of a page right below the existing ones. 😊

🎯 Key Takeaways for quick navigation: 00:26 *📁 Notion and Capacities basic structure* - Notion operates on a folder-like structure where pages can contain other pages or databases. - Capacities use an object-based structure where everything is connected to a date and lacks hierarchy. 03:18 *🖼️ Visuals comparison between Capacities and Notion* - Capacities visuals are similar to Notion but offer more layout options for objects. 06:29 *🤔 Ease of use comparison* - Capacities is straightforward for note-taking but can be challenging for more advanced features compared to Notion. 09:28 *📝 Notes visualization differences* - Capacities offer unique ways to visualize notes, including graph views, while Notion focuses more on database layout visualization. Use to be notion , to ample note [ paid ] but lack of updates and laziness from developers made me cancelled. now as a capacities users, from Shuu the youtuber, and other videos, i am recommendating this to EVERYONE i meet just a no hassle , straight build. you need ai ? sure need struggle templates ? given email ? yep i can state enough, how great the app is, apart from the utterly lack of ipad support and OFF LINE mode. apart from that anyone doing full time studies, can rely it as a mind mapp support, as the copy and paste function for images are that great.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts! It is so true that the lack of offline mode in Notion can be a huge issue for many people. We really hope that this could be solved in the future, because it is not really reliable to use if it needs to be connected to internet!
