He’ll have game plan no one is expecting from Australia, very much like he did when taking over England they went on the record (at the time same as NZ) unbeaten run. I wouldn’t be surprised if Australia win it.

The thing is, even though we do have great depth we will heavily rely on players like Etzebeth, Pollard, De Allende, Kolbe and Willie and if one of them gets injured we might be vulnerable at the later stages of the comp

Duane only need to play 30 minutes to make an impact, which is why Jasper and Evan are there. Deon Fourie played a monster of a game against Munster and was probably the stormers best player on the pitch. Du Toit will always show up for the big games, puts his body on the line everytime. He makes the tackles per match

There is 3 players ahead of Steyn at the moment and that is De Allende and Willemse along with Esterhuizen but would any one of them be able to slot a match winning drop goal from halfway when needed to... No they wont but Steyn can, why?,because it Steyn. Jasper Wiese and Evan Roos might be quicker and faster around the field, but can they calm the team when behind in the last ten minutes against the All Blacks and turn it into a win, no they can't because the dont have the experience or mental strength that Vermeulen would have to do it. @@THERUGBYGURU Hello, in the forwards, I think that Gideon Van der Merwe could have been a bolter. For the backs, we cannot underestimate Ruan Pienaar's influence of the game. Frans Steyn is unfortunately injured but could have offered some versatility and what about Munier Hartzenberg, also injured but a guy with X factor I have got the feeling that the Cheetahs contribution to South Africa rugby is not recognized enough

Unfortunately, we have 5 scrum halves ahead of Pienaar and Frans would have been there had it not been for his injury. Gideon is a great player, but we have so many talented players in the loose trio, but I get your point, he would definitely not disappoint us if he was selected.

Mostert was in every option at flanker and lock but people voted for others, however sous will be vital and will go to the world cup as a utility forward

If we lose etzebeth and snyman, mostert will cover along with lood and marvin. There also is moerat and jenkins along with kleyn

It's absolutely amazing how great our depth has become. It's true when Erasmus say that the Boks are in a much better position than 2019. Something horrible will have to go wrong for us to mess this up.

You summed it up perfectly there. My only concern would be if Am and Pollard get injured as Kriel is solid but lack the X-factor Am has and Libbok haven't been tested at international level enough while I don't really rate Willemse as a flyhalf. All the other positions are pretty much covered should there be an injury. I was worried if Etzebeth got injured but with RG there as backup now, not worried at all

I love it when people write the Springboks off. I understand that YOU think they will fade away, think back when we lost to Italy and got a record defeat to the All Blacks, I also had my doubts as to whether we would recover.
