Is it like Tekken where, if you get juggled, there's on escape? I like defensive mechanisms in fighting games (coming from BlazBlue & Guilty Gear). Am also wondering if only UI Goku can do craaaazy dodges like this, it was seriously cool to watch 😯

Yeah level 3 has invulnerable startup Every character can do it but ui goku level 3 auto teleport to the opponent when done from the floor Same as kefla level 1
Desk: Dodges everything in the game flawlessly and makes UI Goku look like his anime inspiration. Me: Tries dodging the computer on basic difficulty and gets bodied by a basic auto-combo.

@@deskcombo Trust me it's one of if not my favorite fighting game soundtrack. If it's of interest to you Desk, someone was finally able to crack the game's files and rip the music just last month. For over 10 years the only soundtrack for the game on the web was someone's literal recording of the game, which wasn't the best quality. @@nomansland6372 I said at the bottom, download this tool called VGMGUI github.com/BenNatNB/VGMGUI/releases/tag/1.3.0 Open the .exe file inside and then drag the SDBZ audio files into the program, then press Start Conversion in the bottom right and done, you have them converted to .wav files.

I can see the love given here to Ultra Instinct, a form that is Goku awakening a cosmic awareness that is the pinnacle of his martial arts training, attacking and defending perfectly as a reflex. As such, Mastered Ultra Instinct Goku is the epitome of 'tech' in a fighting game. And for you, a master of breaking down the components of fighting games to show possibilities, this character is perfect for that. And as always, your choreography, cinematography and music selections are all sublime. And the 'story' that you convey through the chosen characters and scenes is also sublime. Thank you for taking the time to make this amazing video which never stops putting a smile on my face, especially at that part where Zamasu gets bodied by Mastered Ultra Instinct Goku. His reaction to fighting Goku like that would be hilarious. Amazing job well done!
wait, hold on... does UI Goku’s flipdodge have no vulnerable recovery frames? how do you punish it?? couldn’t you just get a chipdamage lifelead and buffer it into itself until timeout???
im failing to understand how he works just by watching, it looks like all those dodges are free so im not seeing how you can defend against that. i really need to dive in to the game soon since ive not made time for getting it until recently.
Well these are mostly things you're not supposed to do (raw lvl 1/3). Other than that he is really good against beams and projectiles but some weakness is under close pressure because his fastest normal is slower than usual. But he is still believed (by most) to be in the top tier so far (he just got released tho).
@@Valon129 his fastest normal is equal to dbz broly so he is technically a "big boy"and you have to play the offense game. So it is key that you be more offensive on the defensive enemy.

The 6H command makes UI Goku begin a posture in which can dodge all incoming hits, but he is vulnerable for a short while when the posture ends without an incoming move. The hops from one side to another to dodge ultimates, in the other hand, you have to input and hold 896M. It's like Hit's when he is in his purple aura move, waiting for L, M or H for his next move
