Fun Fact: The "Don't Touch Any Water" challenges for 5-1 and 5-3 did NOT used to give you back the challenge whenever you respawned to the last checkpoint after touching water. Which means you would have to restart the WHOLE LEVEL just to get another shot at completing them.

Loved the video mate, it's really entertaining And unlike most other first playthroughs I've seen, you actually used your brain Hey, pro tip: Dashing gives you IFrames. If you overpump the green shotty, dash, and shoot immediately after you start the dash, you will deal insane damage without taking any yourself.

I am a little late but, absolutely crucial pro-tip: You can do something called Slamstorage by interrupting your ground pound with a wall jump, and when you press jump when you hit the ground, it'll send you absolutely flying.

2-1 secret is very much possible without the freeze frame rocket, the level was made before the weapon existed. It, along with wrath 4 are ways to enforce learning slam storage, a technique where you ground slam next to a wall to jump much higher than you reasonably should when you jump (for mechanically reasons that make sense when explained but would take many words to do so)

Not really a viable strategy, and so far only even possible in one level (or the sandbox), but get a few dual-wield power-ups, so you have at least four arms, then equip the red revolver, spin it and jump.

there's something known as slam storage, it's when you groundslam next to a wall and bounce on it at the same time, it gives you an insane jump boost when you land

2:34 little tip to make situations like this easier, if you blatantly interrupt ground slam with a wall jump you’ll have “Slam Storage” stacks, I haven’t checked but I’m pretty sure the max is 3. Ok back on track, slam storage if done properly can make your jump WAY higher and can be even done to make stuff like scaling the Jakito tower (the dude you give the hampter) in 5-2 way easier

Definitely a bit late but I enjoyed the gameplay! Fun to watch and hear the reactions! I have to add; you didn't drop Gabriel in a pit when you "shot the eye" after defeating him, because the challenge didn't show up as fulfilled (And the way you were trying to do it was the right way) The eye just explodes when the cutscene ends and you skipped it with ESC lol, don't really knwo HOW you got the challenge in the end though If you like trying out random games I'd heavily suggest Rain World! Mysterious 2d survival game about a slugcat in a broken (but very alive) ecosystem :3

7:09 the explosion can damage enemies, but only if you are close to them. Also you can use it to make giant leaps cuz it only takes 50HP.

funny facts the piss door(s) holds a very hard challenge. you needing to perfect every level to unlock it isnt a challenge, its a warning the core eject attack does the same damage as a projectile boost (punching shotgun) the second variant shotgun explosion self damage can be dodged with a dash, and it does a lot of damage in regular levels, if you enter the konami code, cheats get activated all revolvers have alternate versions (the piercer alt is better, the regular marksman is better, the sharpshooter is up for debate) soap can instakill any enemy except something wicked you can turn the rockets while riding them the no doors challenge isnt impossible without the rocket launcher, you could also use slam storage to ascend to heaven and do it that way mirage also has a "pillow" in ultrakill store

On the mission where you have to not take any doors there are a few strats to do it without a rocket launcher. My preferred is slam storage. If you jump against a wall, slam, and wall jump before hitting the ground then your jump will be insane. If you slide right as you perform this jump you can get a lot of vertical and horizontal velocity and maneuver around. if you wait too long after sliding to jump then all of your speed turns horizontal.

@@G10Gaming The slam storage part is pretty easy but getting the launch at a 45 is a little harder. I tend to have the best luck if I try to hit jump and slide at the same time but tilt my hand so the pinky hits jump just a little sooner. You can practice on flat ground without doing slam storage to get a feel for it first. If you do it right you should get the lines on your screen like when you slide but while jumping.

You dash a lot. Dashing is actually suboptimal for moving fast because it resets your momentum. The way you go fast in this game is actually basically how you go fast in Quake: bhops, airstrafing, and shooting explosives at your feet.

If you get an S on all 3 categories (Time, Kills, Style) without dying, you get a P-Rank on said level. If you get a P-Rank in every level of an act, you can open the P door (55:12) of that act. Each act has their own P door. The P doors lead to prime sanctums. And lemme tell you, these prime sanctums are HARD. So either nobody in chat told you or you think the prime sanctums are so hard that they deserve their own video.

coins inherit your velocity when thrown, so provided that you dont change your direction or speed after you throw a coin its actually easier and requires less aim adjustment to hit coins 👍

Okay so I just opened the video so I haven't fully watched it, but to answer the question in the title: yes, yes you can Basically, in the dev museum there's a chess board, and according to one of the devs, in order to run it, in the game files it basically just runs any executable. In fact she even said "yes, Ultrakill can run Doom" (but it will just minimize Ultrakill apparently)
