Can We Beat Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze Without Touching a Single Coin? 

I love the donkey Kong series, and the fact that it is getting the audience it deserves by going to the switch. I hope for a new dk game in the future!

I'm currently trying to route the game with as few bananas as possible. Also, speedrunners usually use Cranky to hit Pompy from below, causing all the coins to drop outside of the boss arena.

Awesome video Lambeau glad this went well for you to bad you had some levels where you had to get the coin and then had to abuse death it's like the game designers had a coinless run on the mind and decided to make sure no one could do it

Hey, while I don't know if you'll see this comment, I found a way to dodge the coin in 5-B Jammin Jams! Using the 5 already collected coins (2 in 2-6 Wing Ding, 3 in 5-1 Harvest Hazards) you can go to the shop and buy a green balloon. When you get to the cannon before the coin, intentionally fall into the pit, the green balloon will save you and you can float to the next cannon. Hope this helped, total to beat the game without death abuse should now be 5 :) UPDATE: Well it turns out we're both bad at the game, as it turns out I just managed to make the shot and dodge the coin without the green balloon. However, further into the level is another impossible banana coin with barrels, but you can just use the balloon there instead, so wahoo

Alright, I'm done worlds 1 and 2 in my minimum-banana run, a run where every level is potassium hell. Main problems were barrel cannons in almost every level, Sawmill Thrill's water section, the collapsing section in Mountain Mania, and the final section of Horn Top Hop. Edit: I'm doing this on the Wii U version, which means 2 hearts per Kong and no Funky.

10:43 You do realize that Funky can infinitely roll, which really speeds this section up, right?

What about 3-6, 4-2, 4-3, and 4-4? Are those levels possible?
