All the books I read growing up said Silkweed was one of the best baits for roach. In 40 years of fishing I’ve never even seen an angler use it. I challenge you to catch a roach on Silkweed 🤷‍♂️😂

Awesome video, I was surprised how many pike showed in such a small space, similar size too. Tench fishing on the pole natural venue(not commercial) with lots of features, Lilly’s and weed!

Grayling 2,half lb and above using feeder on the river. Really enjoyed this video as I had a few pike this year while silver fishing and started to do the samething, going for them when the swim dies. But bought myself a lure rod. May get a pike float now.

Great video lads, very entertaining. How about fishing Earlswood for the F1s, but you can't fish further out than 10 mtrs and you can only use maggots, no groundwater or pellets.

just watch this video as I’m away on holiday on the river avon with the Old Man for a week at the back end of August. I was just thinking I wonder if I could catch predatory fish using an elasticated Pole and can’t believe I stumbled across this video. I thought I had thought of something new.😂😂😂 …. but ,unfortunately not😳….. anyway this has give me the push I needed just to give it a little try. Anyway, I was just wondering what size elastic would be useful. I have a margin Pole that was elasticated with 16 to 18 elastic. Would this be suffice? I’m not going to be doing all the time. It’s just to say that I’ve caught a pike on the pole and just like you guys have done actually targeting them instead of targeting the small Fish that they chase and ate every day.
