You'd imagine that there would be significantly less fatherless children if being a father is not that hard. My father still thinks that it was pretty easy. Probably because _it is_ easy when you make the life of your child as hard as possible. Being a bad dad is easy, but being a good one is probably not. In most cases. (I'm obviously not talking about you, I'm assuming you're one of the good ones)

@@arima_song thanks I really appreciate that I I have to say thinking about it now my daughter was really not that bad she did kid things yeah but I’ve never laid my hand on her I just don’t believe in a man hitting his daughter that’s what her mom was for but she really never had to scold her either. I’ve always talk to my daughter as a normal person. I would try to help her and guide her with her problems.

@@BadKarma714 you can solve everything by just talking, that's the right way to go about it, you're right. Just don't do what my father used to do - he used to shove kitchen knives down his only (at the time) daughter's throat and chuckle. And god forbid I move a muscle or try to swallow my spit.

@@arima_song I subbed to your channel Yeah I am 49. My parents are abusive mentally, and physically as well. The thing is to break that cycle I promised myself I would never end up being like my parents. That’s why I took a whole different approach and when raising my daughter, my daughter is the shy type didn’t really date I had one boyfriend in high school her senior year she’s only had a few boyfriends and I just want to make sure she’s OK. I’ve told her everything about how guys can be. I told her how are used to be back in the day, so I think she’s well informed but then you gotta let them make their own mistakes but I tried to have her learn from mine are, but that’s all part of growing up is making your own mistakes. Thank goodness she hasn’t made me a grandpa yet lol.

@@BadKarma714 she sounds like a wonderful kid, you and your partner did a really good job! I'm pretty sure it wasn't _that_ easy raising a kid, even such a great one, so give yourself some credit, you deserve it. And when she inevitably makes a mistake (we're all humans, it's only natural), make sure to be there for her and not to judge her. She will learn and she will appreciate it for sure. I kinda broke the cycle by deciding to not have any kids at all. I'm too damaged for that and I don't know if I can be saved. I'm nowhere near the same level of cruelty as my father, but I'm still too much like him, even if our similarity is just 0.1%. No kid deserves such a mother, they deserve someone way better than me. That's my solution to the problem.
