Sounds like listeriosis to me also. We had a doe have the some of the same symptoms. She had a seizure but eventually after antibiotics and some other medicine we were able to save her. She ended up with a crooked neck.
My husband gifted me a tubing kit. He said, "Here you go, watch a video figure it out." He's a cattle guy. I gravitate to the goats. I watched the videos, grabbed the starving baby and did it with shaking hands! It's very scary to think about tubing, but it's very easy! I find myself closing my eyes while I place the tube. Premier had the kit. Highly recommend having the kit on hand. Also, I highly recommend the udderly ez hand milker. It works great for when it's just you trying to get milk or colostrum. You can have the momma milked out in a minute. Hang in there keep researching goats are great about making us research every disease known to man! Polio or listeria, I agree with the other comments.
When I first took over the goats from my father in law… my wife told me to prepare myself to loose a baby goat or even a momma goat… just how farm life is sometimes she told me.. lost a couple OLD Does the past 2 years… before kidding season I pray all the kids be born healthy and moms stay healthy… We picked up a doe and her doeling in Jan from a lady down the road… the doeling was big.. and dropped 2 kids.. she never even looked at them for a couple hours.. we milked her.. one kid took the bottle good.. the other not so much.. I was using a small syringe and tried to put it as far back as I could… sometimes she would cry and gurgle the milk… she stayed alive for about 3 or 4 days… I thought about me trying to feed her with the syringe… Idk… I felt like maybe the kid got some of the milk in its lungs… 🤷🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️. I had flashbacks when I heard your kid gurgling that milk… 🤷🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️. Tuff season for you so far… prayers things get better for you daniel! 🙏🏽
Try a regular baby bottle. Our bottle baby didn't like the tractor supply nipples. Went to dollar general and bought some baby bottles and she latched right on.
Why are you always talking what your going to do ? We want to see see see what your doing and see the goats please. If you would get camera off your face you would have hundreds more VIEWERS. You walk forever talking telling what you done or going to do. You are selfish to see all the blessings and not show us!!!
Definitely looks like Polio/Listeriosis. Here’s the treatment for it. *Penicillin G Procaine: 1 cc per 10 lbs SQ every 4 to 6 hours around the clock LA200 / Biomycin can be used instead at 1 cc per 20 lbs SQ every 12 hours for the first week, then once a day for the second week. *Thiamine or B Complex: 500 mg every 4 to 6 hours around the clock 1cc of thiamine or 5 cc of b complex. The first dose should be given IM following doses SQ
