This sled belongs to a young fella who's a fan of the channel and wanted to see if I could help him get his sled up and runnin! turns out it was a fairly simple fix, and maybe a common problem for these sleds...a plugged fuel filter was the main issue and causing this sled run like a turd! thanks to ‪@UltimaxBelts‬ for a new belt to put on this young fellas sled! he's showing the support to the brand loud and proud! and thanks to all of our subscribers and everyone going to our website www.rednecks-dirtyhands.com and checking out our merch! Great video like always. For the belts I always went with the factory belt cause in the forums and life experience they seemed to last. But you have me sold on an ultimax belt. Just because if you can put them through the stress of yours and Billy’s sleds. Then it will be great and last a long time on my apex. Been watching your videos since you started. And you need to have way more subscribers. 25’000 is great but let’s hope you get a million soon. You deserve it. Cheers buddy.

I put Ultimax to my -22 650 Assault. It doesn't feel as smooth as original Polaris belt but it sticks better between the plates. The side profile is a bit different when you compare them. Ultimax keeps its lenght better, after 500km the deflection is the same as i put it in. Like your style so keep it coming! BTW in Finland we have had a lot of snow whole winter. I have been riding allmost 4 months allready

That is a great sled , in fact I sold my 2010 Polaris Rush 600 to buy my 2014 yamaha Viper xtx , that is a high pressure fuel filter and I changed mine every 1500 miles I am only minutes in and I bet that is what it is ... love the channel!

I have owned several Polaris sleds and have not had many issues no more issues than any other sleds I have owned. Have owned more Yamahas than any other brand from an Exciter to several 90's era 2 strokes as well as several 4 stroke Yamahas they are surely the best made most reliable but have been happy with every Polaris I have owned as well

GREAT VIDEO AS ALWAYS, MY LAST SLED WAS A 600 INDY JUST LIKE THIS ONE, NOTICED WHEN YOU CLEANED POWER VALVES YOU DIDN'T SHOW CLEANING VERY SMALL HOLE IN BLOCK UNDER POWER VALVE(WHEN IT'S OFF)USE A TORCH TIP CLEANER, IF THIS HOLE PLUGS COULD GO LEAN & THEN YOU KNOW , NOT REALLY SURE WHAT IT'S FOR, JUST IN CASE YOU DIDN'T KNOW IT WAS THERE "POLARIS THING"

I've had 13 Polaris snowmobiles over the years and never had 1 issue with any of them.. Definitely have seen quality go down through the years.. Now only if we would get some snow these days

@edwardabrahamiii3742 .. Probably because Polaris was the first to do Snowcheck back in the 80s. And now today every manufacturer has caught on and doing the same. So it doesn't matter the brand everybody's getting newer snowmobiles every so many year's.. just Polaris has been doing longer lol.

Hade an -97 arctic cat bearcat with an ultimax belt on, made a huge difference😊. Oh, and the audio is much better and more pleasant now. Good job Pete 🍺

In My Opinion I think the new Mic setup is a Keeper, So much nicer to hear what you are saying with extra clarity and it stays the same volume not louder and quieter depending on if you looking at the camera or not.

I bought two belts for my snowmachine. One Ultimax, the other a high end (HPX) Dayco. Both seem fine. But not getting enough snow to get out and work each belt like I ought to. Nice video. always like to see Any video that portrays a better after than a before regardless of the Name on the Machine. My ride - Oldie but a decent performer still 1997 MXZ 583. Fully studded original track. No issue with the audio at all.

If you ain't breaking your buddies balls you ain't snowmobiling right LOL... I've been a Polaris guy my whole life, there's 6 (including a wheeler and a SxS) in the stable right now and oddly enough they all run great... I've heard all the zingers you could imagine, doesn't bother me at all... Because at the end of the ride, at the top of the mountain all I see around me are RMKs... Nice one!

Audio is much better now. It makes me wonder what he's using for fuel? I do nothing but ethanol free fuel here in Colville. Ngk plugs are made in China of course now so that sucks of course! In the end huge improvements we'll done Pete!

Hey I have. Sp 600 2016 great sled no problems . But good to know if that ever happens nope not going to Polaris are the best lol !! Bullet proof motor . And yes I will definitely look at the ultimax belts for sure .

Wish we had more intelligent mechanics and guys that want to have fun working on floods over here in the US keep up the good work I got a 99 Yamaha SX triple redhead but the motor blew all the way through the bottom of it it was set up for ice drags it was fun and it was fast now you just can't find a motor for it

I would bet that those Polaris sleds if you wanted to hop them up they would benefit from some compression. Compression is torque on a 2 stroke.

I've used the ultramax belt before they seem to be two stiff for drag even using the soap and water trick . I can't say for all day everyday trail riding they're great. But then again what do I know.i run a 2002 Yamaha 700 srx with a Polaris track on backwards.thank you for putting these videos up.

Seems like the power valves aren’t opening to me. My Polaris used to bust the cable and then she would run like dog shit lol. Now to finish watching the video to see if im right haha. And the audio sounds great Pete. Nice one. Update lol. Just finished the video. She got the traditional vacuum style power valves. My 800 had 1 cable that operates both valves. Complete garbage 😂😂

Pete! I always watch, good content. Never had a problem with the audio but I sure wish you'd upgrade the video quality from 1080 to 4k! 4k at 60fps would be amazing Cheers from Tillsonburg.
