I may be crazy, but I think if you ask subscribers for some physical help with the remodel, you will most likely get some skilled volunteers. I'm personally way to old to tackle a task like this, but I'm sure there are some watchers that would like to help for a little camera time.

Also, for the kitchen: depending on where the door is (i.e. is the garage attached, is the front door near the kitchen?), you may want to just wall over that door for more space. But that is, of course, if it’s cost effective and you can find a way to make it look good on the outside of the house. Definitely do the cabinets all the way to the ceiling. Try Best Buy or Sears outlets for appliances.

Last February my husband started being a Snap on sells man. But got laid off in October. I have never heard of Snap on until he got that job

The rental of an excavator to flip (over) the house cost more than $20. By the time I can get to the hats row, literally nothing is left. Some Target and $1 Tree things are left so that's not quite true. It takes no time at all to get $20 (in cost) at my bins.

we painted out titles in the bathroom after 5 years it is chipping off so i do not recommend that but maybe the paint is better now

Are you considering recycling the copper pipes for money? I dont know what copper is on the scrap market right now but it always seems to get stolen out of homes when construction is being done.

If you are planning to put down lvp flooring in the rest of the house, pull up the tile on the bath and continue the lvp flooring into the bath.

A comment you made about nothing being wrong with copper pipe, well in Florida the copper is eroding and causing expensive pipe replacements all over the state. Since most of our pipes are under the slabs, no crawl spaces in most homes, people are having to reroute plumbing thru the attics and spending a lot to fix the dryall where the pipes rerouted downward. Thousands of dollars in repairs for failing copper, so you are wise to use the Pex. I used to think copper was the best, man was I ever wrong! So far, we have only done have of our house because we would have to gut the bathroom and the kitchen has a new island and we might have to cut that open.
