At the speeds in which you're flying, it's completely impossible for the model to catch on fire, even if it were doused in a flammable accelerant. No arguments. 🌌🔭
Flying pretty much any model airplane through a relatively low heat bon fire will not damage it even if it's made of paper, as long as it flies at sufficiently high speed. There's just not enough time to heat up the material to burst it into flames. However, if it's flying very slowly or the fire is a high heat/volume/width propane or acetylene column, then it could catch it on fire.
If ya really wanna make that fire go, you can bury pips in the ground a bit and have them feed air to the fire from the side or below. If you add fans (or leaf blowers) to the pipes, the fire rages. But even without the fans, the fire will rip. You can even lay them on the ground and feed from low on the side. Bigger the pipe the better. Ideally chunks of 1 foot culvert but pretty much anything that won't melt will work. Don't know if you guys have cedar down there but that would be another way to up the flame game.
I have an idea for all the Stargate SG-1 fans out there. Can you make the X302 aka human made Death Glider? It has front swept wings and looks bad apples. And if you get some good feedback maybe a drone that looks like the X303. There is talk of a new Stargate coming out under the Amazon Prime streaming service since Amazon bought MGM studios.
Hey Josh and the guys👋 you're one of my favorite channels. I'm trying to grow mine, and want a decent budget minded FPV goggles for my Mini 2. Whatda think?
Awesome vid guy's . But I have an interesting Challenge for your build Abilities ! I , Shane O'Regan , NZ, challenge you to build the stunning, XP-67 "Moonbat", early developments ( around 1940 ), flew well , but power , or there lack of , was always the issue , but ! in Foam and "kick ass brushless motors", if anyone can make this sweetie boogie, it has to be you, start small, then go BIG !!! How say you ??????? P.S if, or when, you research this Aircraft, you will be blown away by it's stunning appearance . Shane.
Love the channel. been watching for years. BUT, Can we fixing the title? Can we using proper English? Maybe we can changing the word "Flying" to "Fly". That may helping.
please tell me, in the news they talked about switchblade military aircraft, they have an absolutely flat wing profile. Such a profile can already disrupt the flow at low angles of attack, but the military is not stupid, I believe. Can you build a similar model like switchblade 600 for testing purposes?
So how do forward swept rings get such a bad rap for stability and speed at life size, but absolutely rock it in this package? Besides the obvious Reynolds Rule answer. How can what these guys are doing be applied to actual aircraft??
Hi, I'm from Ecuador and I would like to buy a model plane, but I don't think it will reach my country. So don't you think you can sell me a model and I can laser cut it so I can assemble it?
Hey if you want a bigger and better fire tornado take a burn barrel (metal 55gal drum) cut 4 holes in the sides low to the ground and add pipes with a fan or I use a 6hp shop vac on blow. I can get a 6 ft tall fire easily with just 1 fan. But if you have a higher rpm fan then go as big as you can also those bounce house blowers work amazing too
So i love this plane, BUT, i wanna what the light is at 4:28 in the background, looks awesome, please tell me what it is, where to get one or how to build one !
How far are your pilot real scale simulation kits? With seat, stick and pedals? Plans? How's VTOL and toy backpack rocketry? I'd like to shoot Barbie over the rooftop.
If you have enough TVs for the monitor, what if you made them scan the whole 5.8 spectrum and auto-lock on every channel that's broadcasting? I would need to find a receiver module that would give out info or reverse-engineer a few and do it myself. Eh just a thought though. Could be cool. Edit: Guess an easier way is just lock one TV to one channel. Whodathunk. (but there's like 40? from different bands)
You need to give the plane a generous covering of DIESEL before flying through the fire.... If that dosnt work, dab a little bit of four star (petrol/unleaded/gasoline) which catches easier, so the four star catches fire and brings the diesel up to heat, then WHOOOOOMPH!
You guys should totally do a video like this one but make it a collab with the Slow Mo Guys. They did something like this but with an RC car driving through fire and it was super awesome, but it would be a hundred times cooler though if it were one of your planes.
Years ago, we went to the sword-swallower show at the Ren Faire. The performer talked about once having a guy in the audience that kept yelling out, "Light it on fire! It ain't nothin' if it ain't on fire!" Has that guy been hanging around Edgewater?
I had taped the bottom of my Flerken wings, but sitting in my tent at Edgewater, my Shark Flerken's wings folded over as it got hot and the glue melted! I now have unsightly tape over the glue on the top of my Flerken wings. A spar would greatly benefit all the Flerkens!
The RC plane design flys so well! You guys should try creating and build a microlite carbon winged and body manned air plane. Just imagine how stable flight would be With minimum power needed. No license required to own and fly👍 Remember to keep it very affordable so that anyone can enjoy it
I once got to fly my drone through a 10 foot tall Flame thrower, on top of a Halloween Haunted House Attraction, in active air space... Was an experience for the ages
As fast as that R.C. is...there's no way it would have enough time to burn up. That thing could fly through 10 fire tornados and still be cool to the touch
I love the look of the FT Flerkin line. I do, however, have a request. Can you put all of the Flerkin videos into a playlist on this channel. I would like to watch the full story of this plane, from concept to this one. I just can not find the first video of where this plane came from.
Should fly through or over something like that with a slow aircraft with flaps. See how much the hot air effects it just for fun😜great video as always!
