Pretty sure he flat out never buys buffalo. He's not even consciously rejecting it, he doesn't even seem to consider it. It's like he's almost completely blind to it at this point.
@@Michael-sh1fb this is crazy because buffalo is cracked in general, all he has to do to level up a Buffalo the same amount is buy/ sell two units which he already should be doing for the dog. It has higher base stats than the puppy and doesnt take away cash from his buy/sell pool.
That squad had no chance, but ditching the dog when he had no life to recover from the pivot was rough. Not acting like I’d do better, but he’s got to consider his recovery time from hard pivots. It’s great he avoids sunk cost and can pivot, but sometimes this happens.

I pogged so hard when he tossed the Dog for the Seal. I didn't even think that the Seal would suddenly become good with a 4-squad, but combined with the ladybug... insanely good build, NL is permanently cracked.
Taking a puppy over a buffalo while you're got an early lvl 2 dog, that hurts to see him take the litteraly worse option just because he over value the puppy that much, to the point of running it with a unit that's dependant on you buying and selling, and that's not the first time either :') Probably not enough to win that last match but still :/
NL, you GOTTA stop meating your unit with highest attack. At round 5 in the last game, your 9 attack fish one hits everything anyway, meat is actually completely useless. Throw the meat on the high health low attack lama and you draw that round instead of losing it.
Meat (or attack in general) isn't best on the unit with the most health; its best on the unit which will go from having attack lower than enemy hp to equal or higher. This means that meat is actually often best on units with low attack - not necessarily high HP. Putting meat on your 7-attack fish round 3 really doesn't do anything since the highest enemy HP is like 4
NL my boy, should probably slap the meat on the low dmg units early game. Giving a fish with 6 attack meat, is overkill when most units have 6hp or less already. Imo
At 22:15 you buy a dog and sell your sheep, instead spend 1 gold on the pill that was in your shop. With 2 open spots you summon 2 rams with a double dog trigger and sell the 2 rams for a gold a piece.
Lobsters actually decent for buy/sell builds. Definitely worth getting a better understanding of it. Edit: Seal 100% hits the same units every time in the same round. I went the whole video looking out for it and it did not deviate from hitting the same unit in a particular round at any point in time.
Tbh the ideal 4-squad Marty is Dog, 🐉, 🦙, 🐃. The 5th slot is for buy/sell, and because they're always freshly bought (and ideally tier 1), you're not really losing out on much by not keeping one for the battle.
Instead of jumping from 4 slots challenge directly to 3 animals challenge. I think a good in-between would be a 4 animals f2p challenge! No lama there!
I truly believe that the dog is rigged. I've played it before and it always favors one stat over the other to a disproportionate amount. I know that humans have a tendency to disregard the probability of streaks, but it happens every time
ok so why on earth would you ever roll puppy over a second llama; especially if you're not even going to let the puppy get the puppy buff? cmon NL use that massive egg on your shoulders.
dog RNG is totally fucked, it never seems to distribute the stats properly, i think the rng in general is a bit off, ant always hits the same thing, spider spits the same creature multiple times in a row etc.
whyyyyyyyy do you sell the ladybug instead of the fish!?!? The biggest thing you have going for you in a 3-squad is that random buffs only have 3 animals to chooses from. Keep the ladybug and chug the salad man!
