Well defiantly a Kyosho Heli with the looks of the cam/spring load body clip. That’s the same style as the SuperTen used - 100% agree that helicopters are not a play thing lol. You can destroy them just as easy as you could hurt someone with it. Nitro Heli is the real deal - Does the engine have much pinch/compression? Seems to spin over pretty easily but, nonetheless, that is the definition of a “project” for sure. Would be fun to get going Thanks for sharing the Adventure with us Todd
Kyosho nexus 30, as you know by now. Unfortunatly it was a big step backwards for Kyosho back in 1997. The Concept series was a solid performer in its time. The nexus was a completely new design....a problematic one. main issues, stripping the main gear (one little touch of the spinning tail blades in the grass....ZIIIIP done!) Clutch shoes breaking off the mounts, breaking start shafts, wire drive tail failures. Performance wise it had limited pitch range. A lot of these are now shelved because of the hard to find main gear, which have now become brittle with age. Dont put much time or effort into this heli! The Raptor 30 was far superior and parts can be found with some digging. Cheers
So you have pitch up and 0 pitch or for 3D negative pitch, the awash plate moves the blades up for lift off and down to descent or on 3D flying they move negative pitch down this heli was not designed for 3D. You also have your left and right turn and tail yaw left and right
This is one that I don't have plans to fly. I'm thinking of giving the parts away to people who need them. I am going to try and start the engine though
