We set out with the one goal… to take a selfie or two in front of the iconic Aussie sign sitting on the tip of the northern most point of Australia and to document our 9 day adventure along the way. Due to lack of overseas travel we also counted this officially as our HONEYMOON!!!
We start our journey down in cairns where we pick up our hire vehicle after leaving the Jeep and van in storage, it was a beaut of a 4WD. Ford Ranger with Bundutop electric roof top tent, PCOR 4x4 tray with full kitchen, fridge, inverters, water tank and all the flashy bells and whistles… everything you could possibly need for an amazing and comfortable trip to the tip
This video covers the first 2 and a bit days of the trip covering the camping locations and spots we stopped at along the way and some good laughs we had as we covered 1,000kms in 48hrs on some of Australia’s most iconic dusty 4WD roads. Please enjoy and stick around to the end for BLOOPERS!
