What would you do if you were in a group of like 6 archers and see a giant mech Titan running AWAY from the hordes then you get the command to charge in and do your best? Lol
Bruh it is a year but i have to comment this, what if you are "aged infected" and see dozens of mech titens heading your way😂 now you evolve to "runner" 💔😂
@@hebonky There’s always something to do. Also. I’m actually slightly more advanced on the tech three then him since I’m not going for inn’s. Haven’t got markers either. Need advice for what tech I should pick between upgrading the train. Chemistry (+20% Soldier damage) and concrete. (Stone walls and gates.) (Train tier: Wood is delivered.) Units unlocked: Ranger and soldier. Defensive towers unlocked: Ballista. I DO NOT HAVE EFFICIENT TURBINES BUT I’M NOT TOO WORRIED ABOUT THEM YET! (I have the stone workshop unlocked.)
What a horrid sight, brave men and women dragged down by innumerable withered hands, torn and gnashed apart by countless fangs, and yet, their sacrifices were not in vain, for it allowed the mighty titans to slay the vile mutants to the last. The emperor prote- Uh I mean, great work Kibby!
That cape storm map has one hell of a final wave, and even in accessible difficulty with soldiers and dozens of ballistas, they busted through half my entire defence
Yeah, exact same thing happened to me, I had something like 50 veteran soldiers and another 40 non veterans, and 20ish ballista, still didn't get through it.
exactly what i was thinking I had played the map before I saw this video, and I started to sweat some hefty bullets as the days ticked down and that right side stayed as vulnerable as ever I suppose kibz saw that zombies, due to their programming, tended to form streams and once he realised where that stream hit the wall, just bothered with his main defences there, assuming that they would mostly hit in that spot Which is a tad of a mistake when it comes to having a single final wave on a bridge map. Which is something he should know from experience. But oh well, he managed to pull it off anyway.
@@syrusalder7795I am not sure if this weakness did not cause the win, eventually. The weakspot caused the zombies to spread out around the towers, allowing more units to start firing (if the wall was homogenous, then only first few rows would be able to fire at all). Plus many zombies seemed to glitch a little and move sideways - wanting to attack the front row of towers, but being pushed aside by other ones into this weakspot. It is possible that as a result they got killed by further rows without doing much damage. I am not sure though, I do not own the game so I am not sure if zombies who have no attack animation do no damage or maybe if this is just a visual thing.
*from an inquisitorial vessel in orbit* Blessed is the golden throne! There are survivors amongst the zombi plague! *hears this heresy from humans.* By the Emperor! Another chaos civil war... BURN THEM ALL WITH AN EXTERMINATUS! *F****G SMASH THE RED BUTTON*
I did wonder whether using the inn (instead of shocks) would work with this one, and it seems to work, at least up to Brutal. Getting enough high units from the inn seems like an RNG gamble though
This game is always like: "Well, I built a really awesome base! Look at my (insert random number) Titans!!1 Look at my walls!111 I wont lose like that. Maybe I overdid it?" Them comes the hoard....
Average TaB player: "I feel pretty safe. It's a long ways off, and I don't need to worry. I can relax until the wave happens." Traumatized TaB player: "The danger is a ways off, but I can feel them... rapidly closing with menacing intent. We need four more towers in every corner and several hundred more scratching posts."
"They are Trillions" would have been a great sequel taking place on a faraway planet? Human are either part of the advanced Empire there or those that left behind on Earth.
@@Commodore22345 US area actually. This mission takes place in Florida I think. You do have a point that it’s still small, but I would hope to have more special infected. China would probably be the endgame, or India.
Subbed to see your play through. My computer crashed many times on this mission, so no hope of me completing it. Also, THANKYOU for cutting out the extra filler footage. Makes these episode so much more content filled than everyone else's content.
Actually there are two certain breakpoints in this game. If you want to finish in 800% with maximum efficiency there are two tech you would want to rush 1-Plasma Spheres before Cape Storm which unlocks Shock Towers and they are your main defence from there on. 2-Articulated Vehicles and/or Combat Artillery which unlocks Titan and Executor respectively before The Noxious Swamp. Because Ballista and Shock Towers are unable to stop Spitters and Soldiers and Archers are swarmed at 800% and cannot have crowded Sniper army in time. Therefore getting a Titan or two or 2 Execs can clear the entire swarm easy peasy.
if you attack manually with a unit after it has attacked it cancels the animation and it attacks right after. ou can do a mchine gun which is pretty helpfull at starts I discovered this today. dosnt works as great against multiple targets while controlling a lot of friendly units because the attack diiscoordinate. Try it out
It kind of does. You have to clikc inside the swarm to make their aoi hit as many zombies as possible. But since they die in a single shot you have to constantly select enemies non stop otherwise they'l shoot the closest and waste spread damage.
yeah it makes defending against waves a billion times easier. I wish they would tell you that in the campaign's tutorial mission because it comes in handy later on.
I saw it by accident when I thought: "Ok, I'm done... lets see how he managed those fucking railroad-defences..... and then: 'YOU CAN BUILD GATES THERE?!!!!!!!?!?!!???' Had to try it by myself.... yes, definitively something that should be said at the beginning :(
UNSC Commander: Oh No! We're about to face overwhelming odds! Emperor from They are billions: For us its a Tuesday. Ultramarine: What are you two complaining about?
That has to be a pre-nerf swarm. The horror of what it originally looked like. I feel like I played the baby game for babies with what I faced. Still, cape storm without shocking tower or lucys just seems like shooting yourself in the foot before running a marathon. But you pulled it off so props dude.
I beat this without towers, stone walls, and balistas. Just wood walls and about 600 soldiers. I layered them between wood walls. I had 14 soldier centers making soldiers at once. Took a ton of pausing to get everything being made perfectly, but only 3 tries overall. Watching your other videos has helped a lot.
Note: The Wasp is not seen as food for the zombies, so you can build them, and they will be ignored till they start firing. They are okayish within the horde missions, as they have high fire rate with decent damage. And there is a Train upgrade that gives you a free Wasp every 24h which makes it easy to get a early defense up, if you have gotten to the point of getting them that is.
I did this not knowing what would come. I used stone walls, just soldiers and crossbows. I survived with three soldiers left and one remaining crossbow. Safe to say i was scarred for life.
I played my first match of this and uh one zombie got into my housing complex and by the end of it I had nearly 300 zombies roaming about. This game is absolutely unforgiving.
i miss kibitz they are billions content. now if i want they are billions i have to watch kenseitv.....KIBITZ COME BACK TO THEY ARE BILLIONS WE MISS YOU!!!!!
i just did this mission ... Inn is strong, can give you advanced units ... Lucifers and snipers ... also i have used mainly soliders together with balistas
If there was ever a crossover with There are billions & lets say Starcraft for example. The Emperor would say to Jim Raynor "I thank you helping my people, but something tells me this not the first time you fought against overwhelming odds". Raynor would respond with "You're right."
omg brother 300k subs great achievement i know you get to grow in no time love the way you explain the games and review them man god bless you more and more
A campaign restart doesnt seem neccessary. So long as you at least have soldiers and towers, you should be able to do it. I didnt have the inn, but then again I was playing on accessible, so there is that.
This is probably the Inn's best mission, because nowhere else do you have that much time (and/or space) to get such an economy. Even so, with all the economy you had, you could have gotten so absurdely many Soldiers the mission would have been a lot easier. Or Shocking Towers. Those work as well. It'll be interesting to see though, how this meme will fare in the future...
I can't wait to see your reaction to the waves of the final mission. If you were to grade the spiciness of those waves, it would be ghost pepper levels, this wave probably cayenne pepper.
Shocking tower is indeed very effective , i had 3 in the front with stone walls and almost 80 snipers in the back. It was on challenging difficulty though.
@@o_austria_w1004 I couldn't , because u need 3 cells between each tower , i could've placed 2 more on the very edges but I didn't think they'd be very efficient there...
I used shocking towers on Nightmare, there are a few fatties in the start of the wave which soldiers and snipers can help take care of, otherwise it's just normal zombies, and shocking towers can kill those forever.
Never played, but... is it not better to create a very long corridor, so they'll follow that path (instead of attacking barriers) and just shoot them inside?
No. The time they waste whacking on the walls is far longer then running through. WALLS ARE YOUR BEST FRIEND FOR DEFENSE! If you’re not sure if a structure truely is safe. Set up some walls. They’ll buy you time to react to any infected that possibly slip by early. (Note: HARPIES JUMP OVER WALLS!)
Thank you for inspiring to try to do RU-vid, I know I’ll never be anywhere near you, but you can bet I’ll try. Again ty for inspiring me to be like you.
Playing cape storm I used 500 troops with six layers of walls and towers and soldiers crammed into all empty spaces between layers, That was on challenging difficulty. I lost 350 of them.
The only way i was able to beat that mission was to put balista and walls all the way back to the command center with around 200 soilders sprinkled in. It was very close
Lol... there is absolutely no problem in completing this map at this difficulty... Just don't rush in stone houses, inn and other useless techs. I think Kibitz is just trolling.
Or just Shocking towers, they are ridiculously good on this mission, you are unlikely to lose even a single one, since even if zombies break through walls and start damaging them, they clear zombies in a large enough area that for just a fraction of a second you can actually start repair on them. And if you also get range upgrade on them, you probably wouldn't need to do even that :-)
Hmmm, i thought that when you didn't have enough of a res, like oil for the titans, they lost some of there value.....not as strong attack or as fast....maybe i was wrong.
I just spammed 360 archers and placed them on the front lines then i built soldiers and as many snipers as possible with 6 lines of defense and constantly fell back to each line until i reached the last one. This was done with stone walls... i did not use wooden ones, because f that.
